RM I like ur blanky idea. I put a little pink teddy in my girls' bassinets at hospital, looks oulik, and everyone viewing from the Storks Nest knows which one is ours.

Question: Do you pack your hospital bags now already? I bought everything, but just haven't found the motivation to pack it. I still got 3 weeks to go before the c-section.

Nayeela just so u know...babies 'normally' lose upto 10% of their body weight and that is acceptable. So k was actually ok and nurses should not have made u stress that way. Had they allowed u to try and be patient it may have been a better situation with the bf.

Addy lost 500gm about and only at 2w check up was I told she had lost too much weight in hospital and was still not growing then I had to add top up. Better I didn't know earlier...cause I would have stressed more! Now I feel bad knowing my child starved her first 2w...tho U'd never say now! Lol

I had some wonderful light bulb moments reading this!

Vix re:sports bottle! U're a genius! U're so thirsty but I had to be flat for 24hrs...dh helps me drink but half of it ends up rolling down my neck!

RM shower gel?? U are also a genius! I got up alone before nurses even came and bravely went to shower...and dropped my soap! I was very close to calling for help and in hindsight I should have cause if I'd fallen...oh hell! But I managed. shower gel sounds perfect!

Books?? I packed so many...what a waste of time!

Thank you so much for this thread ladies. You are THE BEST!!!

I'm busy adjusting my list of things to take with. I espescially like the idea of keeping things at home and let DH bring it with as needed.

At this point I don't have anything to add to it.

Thanks again

I'm with you on the silk pj's! Best thingh ever.....easy sliding on and off the bed.

Catheter after spinal block/epidural is an absolute MUST!!!!!!

And call for the pain injection BEFORE your legs get tingly! Cause by that time your bum is wide awake though the nurse thinks its still numb and plays darts in it!!!!

And most importantly.. Go into Theatre with a positive Attitude. I was shaking, cause i hate doctors and Hospitals..(not sure if anyone actually likes them) unless u married to one..lol. But i knew that everything will be ok.
So, be positive, everyone's body reacts differently, but trust yours. Do some Mindpower Techniques... Works Wonders.
