The external wound takes about 2 weeks, but it depends on you and your body and how healthy your body is at the time. The scar itself and area around it can be numb for up to a year.

Internally it can take months to heal, but you will not be aware of much of this healing.

I found out recently that hypnobirthing can help c section moms recover quicker. There was a hypnotherapist on the radio.

Can someone give me an honest and realistic timeframe that it would take for a c-section wound to heal completely?

Wow, so much to take in ;)

I'm booked in for tomorrow for my c-section at Kingsbury and I cant tell u how many times i've checked my bag...if there's anything i've missed DH or mom could always bring with!
About the public toilet thing, those sanitary wipes, think I should get those as I hate siting on those seats myself!
