They (company) is trying to convince me that maternity leave is 3months and not 4months.

when will companies realise that pregnant women are not stupid, they are merely carrying another life. Yes, we tend to be very forgetful but we are by no means STUPID

I will be taking full maternity leave and nothing less.

Shame GML... I really feel for you...

We are between our home and a rented house for hubby's work so the cot will stand at home and we will buy a campcot for our rented house.

I think that's all we are buying for now. The rest can wait.

This weekend is the painting and then we can put the cot up.

It is gorgeous. I had mentioned Gumtree to hubby and he flatly refused. We're getting a campcot because we live in a 2bedroom townhouse and both bedrooms have beds in them.
There will not be enough space for such a cot. And I really wanted one like that. I also wanted drawers to match etc.

That is very nice. I'm dying here. I have been telling hubby that we need to go to baby boom but there is always some excuse

We are buying all the big things. I went to baby boom and created a register. 2 weeks before the shower I must go and put everything I want in a basket so people can choose what they want.

I just bought a cot! It was about half the price of a new one. Found it on Gumtree.

Thanks goodness we're back online.

Congrats Champers on the pram. My BIL is getting us one.
Google- No news is good news.

Negotiations went very well. They are coming back in September. Hopefully everything will be finalised by then.

Re: baby shower: I dont know. I'm not planning it. I will leave it to my friends to organise., if they organise it that is.

I guess buying things is difficult coz we have friends who can spend and our families are too excited they may also go spend. We dont want to go and buy stuff only to find our families and friends will buy the same things

The vits don't affect the sickness at all with me. I am only sick first thing in the mornings and I take my vits in the late afternoon or night.

The pram folds down so flat, I can't see a problem with the wheels. The front wheel must be set to swivel so it takes up less space.

Going to look at a sleigh cot tomorrow. Second hand is about half the price of new. Probably going to buy it.

Sister-in-law has the invite list for the babyshower so its all in her hands now.

Dinner and movie was awesome last night! Thai green curry. My favourite!!! YUM!
