Hi Everyone!

Meags: Sorry to hear about the frustration about the mixed up cycles. Hope it settles soon...

Nicolette: I am so, so sorry to hear about the failed AI. It is such a tough decision to make! It really is a lot of money...

My thoughts are with you - be kind to yourself, hoping that you can find peace in your decision, whether you choose to do IVF or not.

Would love to hear from you every now and again! (We will be missing you!) xx

Hey ladies. Sorry for my long "leave of absence". Our 5th AI in September/October was unsuccessful. We spoke to the FS afterwards, and he suggested that we try IVF next. It was never the plan - we were going to do 3 AI's and then move on. IVF is tempting - but very expensive. My biggest concern is that if we try an IVF and it's not successful then what? We've already spent a lot of money on the AI's. I feel like we keep moving those goal posts a little further. So for now - we're out of the game. This whole experience has taken a huge toll - on our marriage, on my psyche and in general. The weird thing is that although I've spoken very little to my daughter about it all - she keeps referring to "her baby" and when I ask her which baby she's talking about, she says "the one that's growing in your tummy". I feel so bad for her. I will keep following all your journeys, and try and drop in every now and then. But for now... farewell. Wishing you all happy journeys and lots of sticky baby dust.

Hi girls

Been reading all replies but struggle to find time to connect. Matt had tonsilitis 3 weeks ago, has been coughing ever since and now diagnosed with bronchitis. I'm exhausted!!!

Just a quick update from me:
Think I'm CD40. Haven't had a period yet (except for withdrawal period) since stopping the pill.
BD on CD 19, 21, 25 & 35.
Hope to fit in another one tonight.
Did preg test on Monday (CD 35) And BFN
So I guess we just keep at it until I get a period or a BFP!

Seeing my doc in another week or so for my anti depressant repeat script and will take along hormone test results and I'm sure she'll perhaps send me for another test if I havent had a period by then.

Well done on the weightlosses!!
Carmen sorry for your hernia!!!!!

flowergirl I cant scroll down far enough, but was it you considering adoption? That is such a wonderful gift to give a child :)

Carmen: I remember being too scared too eat as well when I used to get bad "attacks" with abdominal pain and vomiting. Mostly it worsened during times of stress for me. I lived on buscopans at one stage, or so it felt. Deepest sympathy with you.

You would have to google it to get a better idea, but basically it means that you don't necesarily get heartburn, which is often the common symptom of reflux (I rarely get heartburn). My doctor said the pain was from IBS combined with the reflux, but I am not sure if your pain is caused by IBS or by the hernia.

GW- glad the damage wasn't too bad. All that hard work and time was not for nought.
I have had a few spasms this afternoon, right now actually.
So I am going to be too scared to eat supper.
As long as it eases I will be glad. Had these 'normal' , not as intense as the attack. 2 weeks ago as well.
So hopefully if I don't eat supper it won't be a full blown attack.
Is silent reflux pain and spasm? What does silent reflux feel like?

Carmen-capi: Hoping that the Altosec works quickly and that you don't have to go through such an ordeal again. Some people have silent reflux, perhaps that is what happened.

Flowergirl: Enjoy the new car!! That is totally awesome!!!
I am surprised about the perfume...I am still using my Christian Dior from 20 years ago and is still like new. What a disappointment for such an expensive perfume...

The tree was just cut up and removed. Damages not too bad, beans, Leeks, spring onions and basil might not recover....Could have been much worse! Phew.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
