Anyone else trying for a 2014 baby?

Flowergirl: I can't say for sure that the pains I get is not from IBS although it is confusing since it is often with a clear throbbing pain what seems like my ovary. All symptoms suddenly disappear from Day 15. The pain moves around quite a bit too: My back (almost feels like a back injury) especially lower back and then at times under my ribs (painful breathing), shooting pains in my leg. Every time I went to see a doctor they all scratched their heads and all ended up giving a combination of Myprodol and buscopan - which does help a bit. I have tested for kidney stones too...But I haven't had the pains for about 3 or 4 months now I think?

Well done on the weight loss!! That is super amazing! Well done on doing 15 Km, it is still quite a stretch.

I did the 15KM Big Walk yesterday - I was nervous about not being able to finish it, but it was actually easy peasy!!! I could have carried on for another 15KM's!Weightloss is at 6.1Kg's down - yay me!

Going out for dinner with DH tonight - its my bday! so my first cheat since starting my healthy eating plan 4 weeks ago.

And on another note, we are seriously opening our hearts and minds to adoption. and considering whether that may be the right thing for our family. And will most likely officially pursue this next year. Will keep you all posted on our journey.

Juno: My husband and I agreed to do a SA next year if we don't have any luck before then. I agree it is pointless to spend all that money and there could be a chance that the problem might be with the swimmers. At least rule that out first.

Carmen-capi: Hope you are feeling better? Are you going for the scope this week?

AFM: Like flowergirl and Juno said - nothing brings on AF flow like a HPT! Day 1 for me on saturday...Started taking the Fertivor supplements. If I am not mistaken (maybe a placebo effect?) but I had an increase in CM last month when I took it. Well, I guess that is what it is supposed to do!

AFM I've finished my 2nd round of laradex and am meant to be going in to have a scan today - CD10. May cancel as don't feel like spending over 1k when the chances of getting a BFP are so small. Also untl dh gets an analysis done I am not doing any more treatment as I'm not going to be impressed if I've gone through all this and turns out that the little wrigglers may not be performing as they should

Carmen-capi: SJoe, no, that sounds pretty hectic. No, I don't get nausea or fever. I agree, better to do the scope and get to the bottom of this, especially if it is something that happens every couple of months. SHame, sounds pretty scary!

GW - the pain becomes intense then escalates to vomitting and fever. When I took 2 buscopan there was no relief. But the drip worked.

Then the next day subsides.

Hope I get some answers after the scope.

Carmen-capi: That sounds like what I get. At first I thought it must be something else because the pain is at times under my bottom ribs and at times the pain feels like on my kidneys going all the way down my back. At times the pain is more clearly in my lower abdomen. The strange thing is that every single time I got this pain it was around ovulation Day 9 - 15. Surely this can't be a coincidence?

But it could be gastrointestinal too. My dr. said if it persists I should have a colonoscopy to see if there are any problems...I reckon I can take the pain every couple of months...But at times it really gets hectic. I stress and worry what is wrong with me? I have found that extreme stress usually was present with those incidents of cramps and pain too...could amplify it don't know?
