The Fertiboost are for male and female i think the ferti boost pack consist of male nour, male stim and not to sure the female is fem nour, fem stim and fem reg. I think when you consult a Homeopath that sell the ferti boost they look at your hormones etc and then give you only what you need

On the acupuncture side i really feel tired and lazy when lying there with the needles in me but when i get up and go i am all fine and really feel good

Must get going now will pop in later again ... you more than welcome to ask will share as much as i know any time ... love to read all the post and know that i am not alone (sometimes feel very lonely)

Thanks for explaining the whole acupuncture process, I like to be mentally prepared for something! Do you often feel very tired after a session before you start to feel better? Whenever I have the "dry needling" at the Fisio I feel imensely tired (so that I battle to drive home) and feel like sleeping. I actually feel poisoned for a while and then within the next day or 2 I start to feel much better. It almost feels as if I were a hosepipe who were all knotted and the water couldn't pass through and suddenly all the kinks were removed, but suddenly there is water spraying everywhere (or it feels more like built up toxins that are released, not water...). I am not so much interested in the philosophy behind acupuncture (energy/chakras) as I am interested in the idea of the body sending extra oxygen and bloodflow to promote healing on the areas that the needles are inserted.

I saw a Homeopath in Somerset west for the ferti boost not using the ferti boost pack you buy from dis chem . The needles are in me for at least 30 min ... the needles are "all over" from top to toe. one at the top of my head, then about 7-9 needles on my belly around the ovaries etc. one in my hands, one on the sides of my knees and then 2 close to my ankle.

At this stage i am only taking the ferti boost and a pregnancy supplement.

Before my first pregnancy i visited Dr Colin in JHB where he did accupucture and laser (lights) therapy and only been for about 2 sessions of acupuncture then.

I see one Dr for the acupuncture and the other one for the meds, i did mention to the meds dr where the needles are inserted and she said that she is happy with that...( sort of a second opinion)

Bell@ - Welcome!! Hoping that you don't have to wait a year and a half again until your BFP!! Interesting too hear about the Dr Colin's fertiboost. Thanks for telling us more about your journey. How long is one acupuncture session and in which are are the needles inserted if I may ask?

Glad to hear about your insulin and sugar levels. Are you taking any other herbal or homeopathic mixtures at the moment?

Hi ladies. Just had my second AI. Completely different schedule from last time - This time my LH surge happened spontaneously on day 12 last time it was day 14. My follicles were much bigger this time too - 18 and 23 as opposed to 15 and 16. They also commented that my husbands sample was great. Lets hope this is all good. Now for the two week wait.

I've been reading for some time some posts... not sure about all your terms

I am 29 DH 30 TTC since Sep2012. My son is now 2.5 also struggled to fall pregnant with him took 1.5 years before i got pregnant after i used Dr Colin Le Grange ferti boost for 2 months i fell pregnant within the second month

Also has PSCOS and insulin resistance went for my blood test 2 months ago got very good results insulin 7.2 and sugar 4.5

I am now again on Ferti boost and go for accupuncture on a weekly basis... not taking any ovulation tests as i did some all came out negative which made me negative. periods not always the same but hoped that i ovulated last week so waiting now to do a pregnancy test within the next 2 - 3 weeks. The homeopath that i visit on a weekly basis "picked up" my ovaries for a few weeks last week and this week again no sign of them and she mentioned that i now have 2 chances and not one.

Positive vibes for all of you ...

GW- I will just be taking Inofolic and the normal prenatal vits.
I ovulate on my own so not worried about stimulating follicles.
I've read that their is no way of improving egg quality.
There is no plan to do anything else. Just want to get a little control back and not to focus so much on TTC.

Heard good things about accupuncture and opening of the channels and chakras.
