Morning all!!

Juno and flowergirl - sorry about the BFN :( Let's hope for the best for the next round!

Juno - Wow, you manage 2 classes per week! That is amazing. I would love to join formal classes again. I also did the pilates right up to the end of my previous pregnancy and I felt really great and I recovered very quickly from the c-sec. Thank you for offering some exercises, I am getting a bit bored with doing the same stuff over and over again! I will PM you a bit later. I have scolioses (curved spine) and suffer from back spasms. My Fisio recommended the pilates and it has made such a big difference to me. Thanks!

Juno, I am glad at least that your cycle is back to normal, that way you can just carry on ttc.

Sterretjie - Thanks! So, you are officially in the 2WW or if you can wait until 2 weeks to test! :silly: FX!!!!!!!

Flowergirl - So sorry!! Those duds are super frustrating!!!
I am not sure about the clomid. I had no idea the clomid was off the market. I thought the generic was called Fertomid?? Maybe there is more than one generic on the market. Maybe Carmen knows more.
Is the provera the progesterone supplement?
Hope your cycle return to normal soon....

To the rest...Let's start having thoughts of gigantic follicles growing...

Hey ladies.

Unfortunately not great news here either :(

I bought 2 tests on Friday - tested when I got home. Fist 1 a dud - no control or test line. 2nd one - ANOTHER dud!!!!

So, Saturday morning I bought another 2 tests - one clicks early detection test and the other a Clear Blue Digital one.

Took the CLicks one on Saturday morning - BFN!!!! :(

Still no AF yesterday, so used the CB digital one. A Clear as day "NOT Pregnant" :(

So, I am now officially on CD 32 with zero sign of AF

My only explanation for this is that I did not ovulate with the femara (I dont ovulate on my own at all, so I am assuming the same happened this month)................. so back to the drawing board, may have to start another course of provera.

Quick question - is anyone on CLOMID?? My gynae told me that it had been discontinued and that femara is the generic?? But I have heard people saying they are using clomid..... Do you mean Femara or is clomid actually still on the market?

Hi Ladies

Hope you all had a great weekend?!

FW - Any news???
Juno & GW - thinking of you!!! Holding thumbs and sending you sticky baby dust!!!
GW - I agree with you - having to work; looking after DH; LG; one dog and then still finding the time to exercise is hard work. I hate gyms to through the years we have been buying gym equipment resulting in us having a gym at home but I still don't find the time. I either have to exercise after LG goes to bed or before she wakes in the morning. Before I was pregnant with her I use to get up at 4:30 EVERY MORNING to gym - now I am just too lazy / too much on my plate (not sure which one to use  I have to start making a plan because exercise is so vital.

Hope you all have a stunning day!!

CD1 today - exactly one month to the day I had my MC. I find it amazing that it's almost like my body treated the MC as a "period" as such. My cycle is typically 28/29 days and indeed the MC does not appear to have changed anything.

I'm also a huge believer in the power of exercise - though I'm hardly a shining example of this at the moment. I go to x2 1hr formal classes of Pilates per week which I am totally addicted to. I used to combine this with cardio but that's gone out the window. I did Pilates literally right up until my first was born and believe it was one of the reasons why I had such a good pregnancy.

I know what you mean GW. I drive 150kms total to work and back every day and feel like I have no more time to fit anything else in as much as I would love to. Thank god I don't have to add much housework to that as I wouldn't cope and fortunately as he works from home my hubby does a lot of the caring for Liam in terms of taking him to and from school etc.

I usually try and fit in some stuff between my classes and have been given a programme from my instructor - I really struggle doing exercise by myself though...let me know if you want it. I started Pilates as rehabilitation for a back condition and have reaped the benefits. It is just the best.

FG what news?

Flowergirl - I am totally with you with the exercise. I think IT IS VITAL! Before we started ttc for my first LG I was quite fit. Since my LG was born it all went out the window. It is only from this year that I have made a commitment to start doing pilates at home. It's not much, just half an hour 3 - 4 times per week but I can feel the difference. On the weekends we go for a long walk.

I don't know if I would call it lazy? It really is hard to run a household and care for a husband and child and then still have time and energy for exercise. Really challenging for me! But I agree, at some point one has to make a commitment if it is important to you.

Who else here follows some sort of exercise plan?

When I was TTC with Emily, it happened the month I started going to gym. I went from being a complete couch potato to attending 1hour gym classes 5 x week! exactly 6 weeks after my fist gym class, I got my BFP :) Still not sure whether it was related or not, but my body was in a pretty healthy state at the time.

As for now, I am the fattest, unhealthiest, unfittest I have ever been. My excuse is that I will do something about it after baby number 2, but I call it an excuse because that is exactly what it is. - LAZY!!!!!
