Anyone else trying for a 2014 baby?

Ideal size for follicles is over 18mm - so anything over that indicates that O may be soon.
No the FS prefers blood tests. I used to do OPK's as well as bloods - just such a control freak - but not doing that anymore. it's a waste of money. Because blood tests are accurate and spending money on OPK's as well is a waste. I just have to be patient and wait for the results.
Luckily I don't usually get bruises, depends the the person drawing on the blood.

Carmen, what should the size of the follicles be ideally?
Can you take anything for the thin lining? You must have permanent marks on your arms from all the blood tests?! I bruise very easily and always have people asking about the bruises...

Do you use home opk tests to determine the LH surge?

Back from the FS- 2 follies, one on each side. 16 and 17mm. lining is thin.
Now have to do LH bloods FRi, Sat and Sun. Seeing FS again on Monday. Will possibly do AI on Wed, if I don't have a LH surge before that.

GW- I need to have some positive thoughts too. Feeling a little down today. No idea why!

FG- Clomid/Fertomid does lengthen one's cycle. It's best to ask your Dr what he recommends, as you say you don't O on your own.
When I was late with that extra long cycle the FS said he preferred not to give provera to bring on AF. I waited it out. Went into the next cycle without any AF- But I still O on my own.

Juno- yes, I agree the broodiness is extreme this time round!
