Ditto re the activity FG. Sorry wish I could offer some advice. As a matter of interest how long did it take for you to fall pregnant on clomid – I have a friend who is becoming so despondent.

I had breakfast with a friend of mine yesterday and her month old baby. Holding a baby in my arms made me realise just how bad the broodiness is! So hope it happens for all of us within the year..

This thread has gone quiet! Guess everyone is waiting on AF to disappear and then start charting temps, etc.

Keep us posted. I miss the activity.

CD34 - No AF..................................

What do you ladies suggest - wait it out or call gynae??? Is such a long cycle normal on clomid/fertomid?

Sorry FG. That must be a tricky one to work with – the no ovulation..I did the exact same 2 tests on Sat as well..I had been spotting extremely lightly so was still hoping…

GW pleasure any time. I actually have to get a new programme as well. Need some variety. I have some premature degeneration going on so have disc problems that can affect me badly. Pilates has been instrumental in managing it and I also started on the recommendation of my orthopaedic surgeon. A surgeon who believes in the power of exercise – and not the knife!

If it weren’t for my hubby I would not be able to go to classes – I feel guilty dumping Liam on him but then I do more than my share on other fronts so I suppose it all balances out at the end of the day..

I must say this cycle has been sore. I can’t believe the bad cramping and heavy bleeding I’ve had. Never in my life!

Has anybody noticed that this thread has actually got quite a following - gulp.

Not sure where I got the name Femara from - must have read it somewhere  I definitely had 50mg of Fertomid last month.

I just called around to a couple of pharmacies and they are all saying that clomid is definitely discontinued :(

Gonna have to phone gynae if AF is not here by Wednesday to see what she wants me to do............... fun and games (NOT!)

Carmen - thanks for the info. Hope that the 'normal' AF Cycle is a sign of good things for this month!

Ladies - good luck this time around. Let's hope at least 1 of us gets a BFP this month. sticky baby dust all around.

Hi all

Juno- hats off to you!! Pilates twice a week is great. I have made no time to exercise. M is so demanding in the evenings, and I've never been able to exercise in the morning.

Sterretjie - sjoe 4:30 to exercise!Amazing!!

GW- LOL - yep good quality, healthy follies!!

FG- Fertomid is the generic of Clomid - both are still on the market. Femara is completey different. And I prefer it to clomid. It's gentler on the system. Clomid/Fertomid lengthened my cycle, I had a very thin lining with it and more side effects. Femara is cleared form the system sooner - which means you can use it for more cycles. That said I used Femara the last few cycles, and on my recent odd extra long cycle where the was no AF.
My FS didn't give me Provera and I was very happy that he didn't, but I do ovulate on my own, the Meds is to help with timing and increase chances of a sucessful AI.

AFM- Had a proper bleed this cycle. AF has been very light, more like spotting for Jan and Feb and spotting and no bleed for March.
Going for the CD8 scan on Thursday, always nervoud for this scan.

Sticky baby dust everyone.
