Hello Ladies!!
OK, so I went to see gynae. First thing she asks when she saw us was, 'I hope you have good news for me!' She looked disappointed when I said that we didn't and said that the last time she saw me (in December) I had a nice big egg and she was 'really positive' about that.
She asked what we would like to do now. Would we like to try a medicated cycle and see if it works this time round or would we like to dive in and do IUI.
I told her that the fertomid pills worked, I felt myself ovulate and she also saw herself that I had a nice big egg so, the pills aren't the problem. It's the tubes, then she looked at radiologist's report from hsg test and said that he wrote that the right one is blocked and the left one is partially blocked so she knows that that is a problem.
She also said that with IUI, the sperm is injected via a plastic tube very close to the mouth of the tubes so that they're closer together and don't have so far to swim to find the egg.
So, after that discussion, we went to have an internal sonar which just once again proved that my eggs don't become big enough. This month's egg isn't even a cm big

I think I've made peace with that little stumbling block because at least the pills help with that.
Was given a prescription for femara or something (can't make out her writing!!) which I have to start taking CD 5 - 9. Then have to see her again on CD 12 / 13 to get trigger shot and then within 36 hours I should ovulate and have to go back to see her again so that IUI can take place.
She also said that this time she's going to give me a progesterone supplement or something that will (when I conceive) help to maintain the embryo.
You guys are so quiet. Hope everything is ok...
Lots of love and baby dust.
xx
