@ Daerhel, I agree with the other ladies advice. My younger sister has just had her second baby and when she was pregnant with the first (2.5 years ago) I became distant and didn't really want to hear all the pregnancy sharing chats and stories. I was jealous and upset and I with her growing belly I wished that I could also have that too. Everytime the family got together is was just her pregnancy talk all the time but we made time to do things alone together and spoke about everything else besides her pregnancy.

It helped a lot and with her second one it has been more easier for me and now I look to her for my pregnancy questions. So yes spend alone time with her without chatting about the bump a big congrats to you and such a wonderful and special time it is.

@Morgan - O hun, I really dont know what to say, I am just so so sorry this has happened. It must be so hard but dont give up okay, you WILL get your bfp! Take as much time as you need and know that you are in our thoughts. Lots of hugs!!!

@P4M1 - GL with you test on Saturday/Sunday, really hope you get that bfp! Please let us know asap! Yip AF is gone, CD 7 for me today. Almost time to start dancing again.

@Jay-Bee - Thanks hun! Did you BD before your appointment or did you skip? I dont want to miss any chance but then again Gynae is going to be down there and I dont know if she's gonna do an internal or external ultrasound.... I dont temp, just use OPK's. Nope hubby hasnt gone for any sperm tests yet, he only had a testosterone test doen last year, it was very very low but Doc gave him a shot and vitamins and it back to normal. I said to my hubby if gynae says I 100% then he should go and he is more than willing. I like that figure of 80% hey, really hope it works for you first time round!

@Ninies - Welcome doll! GL with your TTC journey hope your stay is short! It sounds like you have had a really tough time hey, well remember we are here if you would just like to chat or need advise. Baby dust to you!

@Dearhel - Heya, mmm this is a hard one. I agree with P4M1, it's really just jealousy, envy and loss. TTC is just a hard road to travel on. I also think the next time you see her or phone her just ask her about her, dont mention your pregnancy and make her and her TTC journey important. I'm sure she will come around, she might just need to time to accept everything. Congrats on your pregnancy, H&H 9 months!

I think it all comes down to a bit of jealousy, envy and feeling at a loss. I know that is how I feel towards other women that are preggies and towards by best friend. I know deep down she want to feel happy for you guys but it isn't easy seeing as she has also been trying hard for a bundle of joy.
Next time you see her don't mention anything about you pregnancy to her just make it all about her, compliment her on different things and make her feel loved and cared about. I'm sure after she feels all the love and attention she will start to unfreeze and gradually accept your new pregnancy and start to chat to you about it on her own.
The TTC game is hard on us ladies that doesn't conceive so easily

Hi Ladies,

I know I don't really belong here, being pregnant and due in August, but I need a little advice please.

My younger sister has been TTC for the last 3 years. She had a laproscopy last year, (between stage 2 and stage 3 endometriosis) and has been on Clomid for the last 6 months.
Still no BFP for her.

I am sad for her. Because I know how badly she wants a baby.

Reason I need advice is, since my fiance and I told her we're expecting she's been very different towards us.
Sometimes she won't talk to me, other times she calls and apologizes, but next time we're all visiting mom she closes up and ignores us completely.

I know she's upset that I'm pregnant. (I have 2 daughters from a previous marriage too)
She adores her 2 nieces, and is constantly spoiling them, but it's like she's pretending the new baby doesn't exist.

How can I make her feel better?
Or should I just leave her alone and hope she comes around by the time baby comes?

Again, sorry to intrude on your topic. I just really don't know how to handle a situation like this.
Any advice would be welcome.
