Aw Jaybee!!
I'm so sorry! Really I am. I know it's frustrating to hear but, keep strong! There is so much, SO MUCH, that the doctors can do. 1% really isn't that bad. I know that sounds heartless but it really isn't. If (and I do IF) the urologist says that it could be a factor, remember that IUI and IVF were essentially designed for male factor ttc problems.
In IUI (I've been doing LOTS of research

) they 'wash' the sperm and then 'only the most feasible' are used for IUI. Which, in your case means, that the 99% that are normal will be used.
Don't lose hope! As I said, there is SO much that the doctors can do these days.
I was told that Zinc is good for the swimmers as well as CoEnzyme Q10. Hubby drank them as well as vitamin C, Iron and folic acid. Maybe a good multi vitamin such as the other ladies hubby are drinking.
Coffee, sugared drinks, sweets, junk food is all a no-no

That's the basis of our ttc journey now. Also SMOKING. Maybe small changes like that as well as drinking a multi vitamin for men will help.
