Time to begin TTC 2018!

Bear with me if I posted on the wrong page it my first time on this site.
My name is Tina I have been trying to conceive for 5yrs now after my only child 7yrs now.
Last year 2017 I tried ivf wit Dr Randeo in durban having learnt that my only tube is blocked dat ivf is my only option.
Unfortunately it was nt successful the doctor advise we try again but we couldn't bcs we spent over R100000 on that.
Since then I av been praying nd believing God 4a miracle. Last month I went to c my gyna ngotho he suggested I shud try 2open up my tube which he says will cost mi about R40000. Nd I dnt av the money.
I have been so disturbed nd worried wondering if I may never be able to conceive since time is nt much on mysef I will be 35 this year.
Pls mums any advise will go a long way for mi. Thanks

Cd29 tested but BFN so another one of those cycles for me. 2 years in April since we started trying again and 3 years since my angel baby. It's getting to a point where I don't know if I'm coming or going. Had a discussion with hubby, he wants to try just having fun, no tests, no temps no planning days, no worrying about It, I broke down because I don't know how to do that. He suggested seeing someone as I am becoming obsessed. I am seriously thinking about it. I always say we don't realise how involved we become with ttc but after talking to him I saw how my one track mind has affected him and it scared me seeing how he sees me.

I feel a bit bad saying this just seeing what other ladies on here have been through. We have been trying for 6 months. So not long at all, but it doesn't make the disappointment any less real for us.

@Petit....im a bit out the loop. How long has your TTC journey been now? I know that feeling when u feel confident and then the wretched aunt arrives. And she comes late just for the cherry on top. Grrr!

@NicolaF....i am so sorry that u have to go through all this. Its quite astonishing how our bodies need help these days yet in the days of our grandparents most women just thought of sex and WHAM! Must keep going tho and we all 100% with u!!

AFM...turns out Pregnacare Conception can delay AF which is supposed 2 lengthen LP. So no POAS for me unless im SUPER late. It makes me very sleepy (which im sure it should do the opposite), makes me bloated and gassy and my boobs are bigger. Its all AF or PG symptoms which is not the case as i only ovulate next week. This is going to be confusing....

You will be just fine! I did 12 days of stims. Most days was 2 injections, I had 4 vials menopur and eventually cetrotide (only on IVF do you go on this).

let me know if you need help with how to mix etc. YOU GOT THIS! It will be fine!

@Nicola - So sorry you're feeling so ill. Hope you get better soon. Also, sorry about dreaded AF and best of luck with the IUI. Holding thumbs for you and sending lots of baby dust.

AFM - dreaded AF arrived today i was honestly feeling so confident this month so the disappointment is so much worse. Anyway, I have an appointment with my Gynae on Monday so will chat to her and see if she wants to start doing some tests on me and DH.

So here we go! 3 days of menopur injections plus 5 days of fertomid ??

Safe to say I'm feeling completely overwhelmed. Literally cried the whole drive home!!!
