Baba will definitely come!

Yeah medicated cycles are a lot more different than non medicated. Expect bloating and mood swings but its fine, take it one day at a time. the most important thing about fertility treatment is that it must not interrupt your life so much. Yes you must eat healthy but damn life needs to be lived hey. I love my bread and muffins and choccies. that five star bar is divine! So as long as you enjoy life in moderation then its fine! Alcohol also, don't over-do it, but a glass or two now and then also wont hurt you. It is a stressful process but you get used to it.

Do you know what meds you will be on? Pills or injections?

xx let me know if you need more advice. i have done one IUI, and three other medicated cycles where i tried naturally. now on IVF. SO i have done a LOT of injections and stimming. so used to it by now.

xx

thanks so much for the info Cands xxx I am doing the medicated cycle so ya i'll avoid anything too hectic and stick to my beach walks and light spinning. Glad i can have a wine here & there....and my choccies haha! don't think I can live without a 5 star bar haha! Am pretty healthy most of the time...sometimes just feel like i'm doing something so wrong but i don't know what, feel like such a loser! but I have faith our baby will come one day!! xxx

Ah I am so sorry hun!!

IUI is really not bad. In terms of drinking, eating etc. Carry on as normal. Cut down alcohol but a glass of wine here and there is fine. Exercise - during the stimulation phase (if you are doing that), no running or heavy impact exercise. Keep it very light. Eat a balanced diet but chocolate isn't a sin hehe.

You will get your miracle soon! I know it sucks. But we are all here!

Morning ladies

Unfortunately I'm out...AF came this morning :( Gutted. doesn't help that i've got the worst tummy bug ever i'm on the 3rd day of it now and no sign of it ending :( :(

Next stop IUI in a couple weeks....feeling a bit overwhelmed this morning can't stop crying. Miss my mom on these days wish I could just pop in and see her, Durban seems like a million miles away its times like these that I hate living in another city :( Can't wait to go home in April.

Any advice for time leading up to IUI would be welcome, diet, drinking alcohol or exercise even?

Anyway don't want to put any downers on your days. Promise to respond to you all later today. Praying for the rest of your waiting for your BFP this week
sending love and babydust xxxx

@Nicola - hope you are feeling better today. There is a tummy bug doing its round in Durbs also, so I hope I dont end up with it.

@Ayesha - I also have a tablespoon of the plain maca root powder. I never seem to find the time to make smoothies these days so I havent been too consistent. Took a while for me to get used to the earthy taste but it definitely is an energy booster. I also noticed my cycles days got more regular so I am guessing it does help with hormonal imbalance. I wonder if its possible to get empty capsules from the pharmacy and put the powder in it?

To those ladies expecting AF this cycle, I hope she stays away.

Enjoy the rest of the week. Stay positive and keep smiling

Mesh there's this great tablet I take the moringa leaf 1 as well as the maca 1 it works like a billion dollars with regulating cycles it's mixed with coconut oil they have maca as well I will try to attach a pic of it with info on it
