Hi all beautiful ladies. I cant remember all the names. Bit I know ur all going through a struggle just like me.
A bit about my self
Me 30 DH turning 50
Dd turning 11
We've been ttc for 5+ years
Ectopic March 2013
Chemical August 2017
Miscarriage October 2017
Test: HSG and bloods for myself
Sperm test for DH (morphology low)
I almost gave up but had a yearly appointment with OBGYN so I just attended. Glad I did coz then he did all types of tests which the others didn't do and I'm scheduled for an IUI (not sure when) first appointment first or second week in april. Im so confused because a lot of ladies who is attending Groote Schuur hospital feels blessed and are excited but me on the other hand feel nothing of that kind.
I don't want to get excited just to be disappointed again.
I need motivation please
I see nicola is going soon but seeing all those drugs they put her on make me more nervous than before. How am I even gonna inject myself as I'm very scared of needles.

AFM

Tested yesterday BFN. Currently on CD 32. No AF, I am beginning to think those 4 day of spotting was actually an early and light period, I also think I picked up a tummy bug, been throwing up the whole weekend and had such cramps in lower abdomen it was a horrible weekend and today as well. But the plus side is DH is on leave for the next 2 weeks and with the exception of taking my sis and bro in laws to gold reef city on Wednesday, we plan on staying in our on a and just reconnecting on an emotional level, so I'm in heaven if only I wasn't sick :eek: :eek:

Welcome to @ Skye and @Chioma, I hope you find the advise and support you need on this forum. The ladies here are amazing.

@Nicola I am gutted for you hun, however as you are about to embark on the IUI journey think more about why you are doing it. Keeping you in my prayers.

@Ayesha keep the faith and do what needs to be done to get your head in the right space again, if that means talking to someone, then just do it and take everything one step at a time. Don't be too hard on yourself too.

@Petit we keep trying hun, stay positive. All the best with your gynae appointment, hope all goes well.

AFM I am out, AF arrived yesterday. I had a 32 day cycle this time around from the 36 day cycle of the previous month. It looks like my cycle is starting to stabilize again since I stopped taking the pill in Dec 2017 so I'm quite pleased. We try again this month, CD2.

Counting the days till my appointment Friday! Gosh I cannot wait. My Dr will then tell me what the plan going forward is to prepare my lining and when transfer is! I keep getting so caught up in Instagram stories about babies and pregnancy. Said to my husband that I want my turn now haha~ I am very impatient but I know the wait will be worth it!
