Okay,we are home girls anyway ;) & I know all the places you are talking about.

About the blood type diet,DH things I should ignore it too but I cant cause I've read it so the info is stuck in my mind.Just like you,it says I should not eat everything that I've been eating even the ones that I know I've opted for healthier option e.g. skim milk,low-fat youghurt, boiled eggs actually it says I must keep away from diary products & egges - totally.

I've also cut off some red meat & it says I should eat it as I'm a protein kind of girl.I've been eating mostly chicken, pork & seafood so its a point for seafood & a no no for pork, cabbage & cauliflour my favourite but they say no no I can go on & on & on about it its like the story of my life & I know it by heart.I'm actually thinking of making an appointment with Bo's dietician & see what she will say.

Can you believe the gym is just 1 minute walk away from work literally next door to my work place & about 5 or more minutes from my house?& I can squezze it into my already tight budget. But like I said before DAMN THIS WEATHER.

Since hiting the plauteu I have no will to go on except my mind telling me I should go on.I sometimes feel that I should accept the way I am as I'm actually the slimmer one in our family much slimmer compared to my paternal relatives

...mhhh just busy weighing my options AGAIN!!Let me google some more & see what I can discover

Wow!! what do you know homegirl!!!

We used to move a lot, we lived near the Mafikeng prison then moved to Montshiwa, then my mom eventually moved to Rooigrond, she used to work there, but she's now retired and has moved. I left Mafikeng a long time ago 1996, I went to high school (boarding school) and varsity in the Free State.

Let me check out your avatar, and see if I won't recognice you...

Maybe hitting the gym won't be such a bad idea. There is a whole of motivation, though it gets annoying at times but the fact that I pay every month makes me get off my butt and off I go. DH also goes to gym so that helps. It's also a great way to meet weightloss buddies etc. I see it a lot at the gym, just that I'm not really good with people...There is a whole lot of equipment, so you won't get bored, plus the gym staff will help with new exercises and ideas, and there are personal trainers too if your budget allows.

My problem is that I'm not very tall, and like I said, my upper body is my biggest challenge. 57kg is actually the ideal for my height, so yes, I am overweight   I've actually gained a bit this past week.

Yes, I also read that blood type thing, it basically says I should not eat all the things I love, and switch to those I don't like! So I'm just making like I never read that

I'm getting so excitted while typing this.I'm actually also from Mahikeng but currently stay in Carletonville.Where in Mafikeng are you from?I'm from Lomanyaneng & went to Mmabatho High School but I've been out of Mafikeng since 2005.Nice to have a homie on the forum!!

The more I read about women going to the gym the more I'm convinced that I should enrol myself too maybe this will be my answer to the plauteu thing. Why do you want to loose weight?I will die to be 75kgs & you are 69kgs & still moarns & you want to loose 14kgs??I want to loose about 20kgs but 10 for now & I'm hoping to loose the 10kgs by December 2011.My husbands says its unrealistic & although he supports me he thinks I'm taking it too serious, like I'm obsessed-to tell you the truth-I AM & I know that if I managed to loose10kgs in the past I can do much more.

I just love polony & cheese,I also love love chocolate & peanut butter & jelly.Since reading about the blood type diet I'm re-evaluating my goals & my plans so that I can achieve my ultimate goal-its hard but I with the right mindset,I WILL DO IT.

I just hate that I cannot exercise like before(blame it to the weather) & I wish I also had a weigh-less friend that I could do things with e.g. walk.I've come to realize that having someone to motivate me is much easier cause I feel accountable if I fail.My hubby doesnt want to hear about it,he hates any forms of exercise & loves his food.

i'll figure it all out though & probely join the gym come summer.
