Hi Ladies,
Thanks for the congrats. Let me tell you, I'm very proud of what Rosemarie achieved.
One of the things we found with Rosemarie, is that mindset plays an equally important role than being healthy.
When I met her, she was overweight. In fact, she was overweight since she was 16. So she struggled with her weight for half her entire life. To be thin was most of the time an unhealthy obsession, and guess what, she lost no weight.
One thing that chanced her mindset was the pregnancy. As long as she can remember, she decided not to beat herself up about pregnancy weight gain. She accepted it as normal. Part of this mindset, was to just lose what she gained.
It is almost as if she told herself the opposite what people normally complains about: "I easily lose my pregnancy weight."
To her, this was such a firm believe, that she found it much easier to get back in shape after Mary-Ann's birth than ever before. In fact, she's now in the best shape since she was 16.
I hope she can inspire you guys. She is definitely an inspiration to a couple of our friends.
Another thing that she realized is summed up in a Chinese (I think) saying - "You eat an elephant one bite at a time." We celebrated each and every kg she lost. She lost her weight not 25kg at once, but 1kg at a time.
Congrats on all the improvement all of you made so far.
Regards,
Francois
