Enjoy your new bundle of joy and remember with the firstborn that this is all so very new and exciting for them too and they just need a little extra time to adjust. And that the new baby wont know any better if baby # 1 gets a little extra attention at this time.

Ag noooooo! Just wrote the next part of birthstory and when i tried to post was told my session had expired!!! Will try to re-type it again when i'm in a place with better reception. My house is terrible!

In the meantime, want to thank each and every one of you ladies for the suggestions, support and encouragement through the past few months! This thread was a real source of strength for me cos even my hubby was quite skeptical about vbac even though he knew and accepted that it was my decision.

For everyone who is close now, I just want to encourage you to trust your bodies. and, barring medical reasons, Don't give up or give in to pressure from anyone to get the birth that you want. The waiting does get frustrating in the end, but please try to relax and enjoy the last few days of leisure at home or, for 2nd time moms, enjoy the time alone with your 1st born. It is VERY hard to pay them the same amount of attention as before when baby comes and it's one of the things that i am finding the hardest and most heartwrenching.
