Jan/Feb/Mrch 2012 Momies to Be

Amanda - thank you for encouraging words. It's good to know that it's hard for others too, otherwise all you hear from others is how wonderful it is and wonder if you are the only one that's suffering. Sure, suddenly you are a mother and it's a big life shock. You can't tell like with other hobbies "I am going to get a brake from it for a month or two, recharge my batteries"... ha-ha... no brake for next 20 years... Vica is super cute on recent pictures, you can see her personality already - lots of fun girl. 4.7 is awesome, Lula is about 5.2, you are going to catch up with us any day. I am still amazed at what an incredible job you have done with Vica.

Carol - 6.5?! Really?! We won't catch up with you any time soon. That is a Samson...

Simone - all the best for operation, hope it went well?

Vision - good luck with induction, I went 7 days overdue so I know how you feel... But then Tallulah was 3.3, less than estimated for her actual due date, so I guess they stay longer for a reason...

Zel - Millay is adorable! They are so presious when smile like that, I just want to eat them up.

Juandre - we want to see pictures of your newborn girl please!

Hello ladies

Well I have been booked in for an induction on Thursday night do if all goes according to plan Leah will be here Friday! Very excited but also very nervous
My cervix is still closed tight even though I will be 41 weeks on Friday was hoping I had dilated even a cm Oh well will just take it as it comes. I had an induction with bekah so know what to expect at least although I had started dilating which helped

Carol janroux has grown so well definitely a little rugby player to be! How does he compare to Ruan at this age? Hope those winds clear soon! One of the frustrating parts of having a newborn cause u just wanna take the pain away!

Zelf Millay is so precious so glad to hear her feet are getting better!

Zelf Millay is sooo cute! Janroux is sleeping very well thankyou. wake up once around 2am. We have our good and bad days

AFM. Just an update on JAnroux checkup. He weighs 6.5kg and 61cm long. Doc said he will definately be a rugby player. haha. ANyhow he is a bit lactose intolerent. Apparently BREastmilk babies get more wind. He said breast milk is much sweeter and result in more lactose and if the enzyme cannot digest it all it causes the ache tummy. So breastmilk still best!! We will sort out the winds!

It's been a while - but I am reading your posts on the BlackBerry, just a bit annoying to post from it!

Good to hear it's going well with everyone.

Vision - I hope Leah makes her appearance very soon!! Sjoe - can't believe you still had energy to walk around for 3 hours!

AmandaSchade - Vica has grown indeed! Looks like she's a healthy little baby now.

Simone - thinking of you this week, hope all goes well with the op! Sounds like Josh is a very relaxed baby?

Carolsch-Janroux is BIG!! Wow! Is he sleeping well?

Lumine-Annie, Tallulah is a cutie. One of these days she will be crawling and walking and making a mess, and you would be longing for these easy days!

Hope all the other girls and babies are doing well.

Although busy, we are doing good as well! Millay was 4.8 kg end of Feb, so she is growing well. Smiling and making lots of noises, and when she's awake, she just wants to sit upright! Went to the dr last week for her feet again, he says it looks very good. She still has to wear her shoes 23 hours per day. When we see him again in 2 months time, he will reduce the time she has to wear them, because she will be more active by then, She sleeps well during the night, only wakes once about 2'o clock for a feed. Her brothers adore her, it's so sweet to see These last few days she has been a "arm baba' - just wants to be in the arms the whole day - can't get much done .
My heart was so sore last week - a friend of mine lost her baby at 27 and a half weeks. They tried for so long, and after fertility treatment managed to fall pregnant. They had everything ready already for the arrival of their little boy .
Today I am becoming an aunt! My sister in law will be going in for a c-section at 13h00 this afternoon - my brother is so nervous -it"s their first child - a boy!

Hello ladies

Nope still no baby for me! I am soooo jealous of you all discussing your angels and seeing the gorgeous pics of them although I'm sure I'll be complaining about the sleepless nights soon
Went to the dr on Tuesday and nothing was happening really had my hopes up with all the Braxton hicks I was getting He said we must discuss induction at my next appointment this Tuesday which I really don't want. Went to Pretoria zoo yesterday and walked for 3 hours straight and still nothing. I am feeling down and just trying to be grateful my baby is healthy and she will come when ready!

Simone wow having your gallbladder out is quite a big thing? Is it infected? Thinking of you big hugs. My dh works for VW and I told him about your car he says you should demand a new one the consumer protection act is on your side... He said with VW they would of given u a new car already

Amanda vica has really grown so well! You have super breast milk Can't believe how far she has come! Dieter has a very mischievous face I'm sure he keeps you very busy

Lumine Annie wow tallulah is a real beauty just love her smile! You are doing an amazing job she looks so healthy and happy!

Carol wow your boy is growing so well sounds like he is nice and tall too! Sorry about the injections they are heartbreaking! Hope he hasn't had any side effects. Hope the checkup goes well
