AFM: had a scare yesterday thought my waters was leaking was rushed to gynea only to discover Izelle has made herself very comfy on my bladder, was so hoping I'm finally going to meet her, but only 7 days left over and she's finally here...can't wait anymore...

Hi ladies,

Annie- I only managed to breastfeed Shiloe for 3 weeks and then she went onto formula. SHe has always been a healthy child and at 9 years old you can not tell how she was fed. So you must do whatever is best for you. My midwife always says to do whatever keeps you sane. With Mickey I managed to feed for a year and hope to do the same with number 3 but you just never know.

I cant believe how big everyones babies are. Both my girls were 2.9kg's- I am hoping this one will be over 3kgs.

Zel- I can only imagine how you felt on Friday. I would cry too.

AFM- I spent last week in hospital resting... I went to the labour ward on Monday at lunch time for a check up as I just was not feeling great. I had a severe UTI and was booked in imediately. Doctor only discharged me on Friday so I spent the week sleeping alot. My UTI has cleared but I have what my dr calls an "irritable" uterus. My tummy burns all over alot. He says that I will have this until the end and the only thing I can do is rest. So I am now working from home and resting when I need to.
I have an appointment on Wednesday at 35 weeks and will see what weight baby is. But my c-sec date is still 13th March- one day after you CAKES! Not sleeping much as is normal this far along in the pregnancy.

Hope you are all doing good! Congrats to everyone who had their little bundles already! Hope they are all drinking well and sleeping good.
To all the ladies still pregnant- I really hope you don't have too much aches and pains. Enjoy the last stretch!

Sorry I have been MIA, it was hectic these past few weeks with the moving, they still worked in the house till Thursday, and we had a storm on Friday, it leaked a lot in Millay's room, so they will have to come and fix that. Still busy outside as well with the boundary wall.
Millay is doing so well- she's mommy's little angel! Weighed her on Wednesday, already 4.62 kg. Picking up nicely! Her cheeks are very chubby. She normally drinks every 4 hours, and during the night have a long stretch of 6-8 hours, so I usually only have to feed once a night at about 2, which I really can't complain about. She has her bad nights, but they are very few, and normally it's when something new was done to her feet. She had plaster on for only 3 weeks, then she was a week without anything, and on Friday she got her shoes with a bar inbetween. She was a bit niggly and moaned a lot on Friday night, but I think she's used to it now. Have to wear this basically the whole day - 23 hours. So we only take them off to bath. I cried on Friday when we got it fitted, although I know it's for the best, it's still not nice to have your little girl go through this! But feeling better now.
The 2 boys love their sister, and just keeps kissing her and wants to hold her. I am so blessed with 3 loving children.

Eerstens wil ek se baie geluk aan almal wat al geboorte gegee het, hoop dat hulle baie vreugde en vrede in jul lewens sal bring.

Ek was laas week by die gynie, my datum vir die 16de is uitgestel want hy is nie meer beskikbaar daai dag nie, ek is so ongelukkig daaroor, ons het al klaar gereel, nou moet ek oor 3weke weer daar wees dan gaan hy kyk of kleintjie se long reg is vir die 14de anders gaan hy dit die 21ste maak.

As hy van die begin af ja gese het vir die 21ste dan was al die drama nie nou nodig nie, maar nee, hy weet mos van beter.

Met kleinding gaan dit goed weeg nou so 2,3kg en eks nou eers 34weke, ek wens al die tyd is om, ek het vreeslik seer in vergelyking met my 1ste swangerskap, sal hom eerder oor vat as wat ek die een weer sal vat.

Simone - Hope Joshes nose gets better. Janroux is starting with a blocked nose or somethng. Can hear a wheezy sound when he is drinking. I am so glad he did not get sick when grandparents were here. Dh, FIL and MIL and Ruan had flu or something. I just kept drinking vitC hoping baby and me will stack healthy. Couldn/t deal with a sick newborn!

Lumine-Annie - so glad things are going better! touchwood. Janroux is struggling with gas. Groaning and moaning in his sleep. I am giving gripewater and behoedmiddel. I used it with Ruan and that seemed towork. but this baby is a different story. Atleast when he sleeps he SLEEPS!

Vision and cakes. What great weights!!! Almost time!!! YOu must be soooo exited. I was very nervous for the c-sec after hearing the other mommies second c secs. But mine went excellent! Not even the drip was sore. Standing up was a bit uncomfortable but not as sore as the first time. Maybe because you know what to expect.. I couldn't pee for a day or 2 until the nurse threatened me with a catheter. :o And now I can still not feel when I need to pee. so I have to remind myself.

All the other ladies HOpe you are doing well. Havent heard from ZelF in a while...

AFM: only 12 days to go yippie, going for check up tuesday again, feet r really starting to swell and sleeping has become a mission but its all worth it in the end...my cus gave birth to a healthy gorgeous little boy on valentines day, she was told its a girl through out her pregnancy and out pops a boy...
