Maureen, good to hear you had a relaxing weekend! Enjoy your appointment tomorrow! Good luck with the last 4 days at work - try not to worry about next year. I am also waiting for financial statements from our subsidiaries before I can finish my work - so frustrating.

Morning

How was the weekend?

Carlene - I am glad that they could continue with your house. Luckily they're busy with the inside of our house as well, so the rain doesn't bother them. The In-laws can drive you crazy some times  . But I must say, my brother do the same sometimes as well. It just seems if they don't care that my mother is all alone over Christmas or Mothers day etc. Sometimes I get so mad at them as well!

Angi, usually when you have a feeling about someone, you are right! It's a pleasure about the "advice" - I think everyone can just tell you what worked for them, and then you must try to find what works for you. But I hope the breasfeeding works for you - it is a special bond that you have with your baby. I breastfed my first LB for not too long - struggled with the supply, and I think I was too stressed about it. With second one I exclusively breastfed for 4 months, and when I started working I decided I had enough of it. I would really try to breastfeed Millay for a little longer.

I am so frustrated with the attorneys this morning - they were supposed to submit our new house documents on Friday, but needless to say, they didn't

Millay is moving less, got worried yesterday at a stage. But, I know the space is getting less and less, so will just keep monitoring it.

How are you ladies feeling?

A week to go for Mandy and Simone!!!

Morning,

How was everyone's weekends?

Mine was good, did a lot of relaxing! Worked late on Friday to get as much done as possible. Came in at 6 this morning, and now we have no common drives, which means a waste of my time, as I can't do anything, and I have a lot to get done! Frustrating!

Going to the Gynae tomorrow morning again. Looking forward to seeing Reagan again. Wonder how big he is now!

Also another 4 working days then I am officially on leave, can't wait anymore. Although still no clarity on who is doing my work next year, and if I am working from home!

Have a good one ladies.

Zel, the rain doesn’t matter because the roof is on and we don’t have to plaster outside. We have face brick, so it is only inside.

Ladies, sorry that you have to feel this way and that your DH’s and BF are not helping. My DH is very helpful and he does understand if I don’t feel like cooking, then he will get us some take-aways. Although my MIL is very sweet, she can be a pain sometimes. She was a teacher at a “special school” for dyslectic and downs syndrome children and sometime it feels like she talk to me like one of them. And I’m not stupid. And she use to talk about Emma as: “die baba” until I told her one day that “die baba het ‘n naam” She was not very impress with me, but luckily she calls Emma by the name now. I don’t know if this LG will also be “Die Baba”. Will have to wait and see.

Well, I just want to say that I’m really “die dinges in” for my SIL. I told them in June already that they must not arrange anything for Christmas this year and that we must all have Christmas together as a family. Because the past two years they went away for Christmas. Anyway, about two months ago, I found out that they are going away for Christmas again this year. This is now the third year that they didn’t spend Christmas with my MIL. So I decided to organize a Christmas lunch for this Sunday, so that the family can be together. I asked her for the date that suites them and she said that the 11th will be fine with them. Well, that was about a month ago that we spoke about it. So when I phoned her last weekend to organize what she must bring, she told me, sorry, but she arrange something with her mom and family also for Sunday. Now I have to change all my plans so that she can go to her parents on Sunday. I almost flipped out. Well that is a lie, I did flip out and I was just about to tell her that she must just leave it. But so, being the least yet again I change all my plans and now it is just a braai on Saturday. It doesn’t matter that I have a full day scheduled for Saturday with a baby shower, a photo session and some packing to do and that I’m pregnant, No that doesn’t matter at all. It is just strange that they don’t care about being with family over this time of the year. We have an arrangement. One year it is my Moms year and the next year my MIL’s. Same with my brother. Next year is his year with my Mom as well as our year, so we will all go to Upington for Christmas. But they just don’t care.
Well, I think that is enough, otherwise I’m going to work myself up again.

Well, I forgot what else I wanted to say. So hope everyone enjoys there weekend.

Morning!

So good to hear from all you ladies!

Carlene - I am so glad they started with the house again!(although this rain is not helping I suppose??). Nice and long ML -you deserve it - enjoy!!

Juandre, glad baby is doing well and growing nicely.

Welcome Lumine/Annie!! Please come and chat, and yes, hopefully our next meet will be central for both the JHB and PTA moms.

Shame Maureen, hopefully your husband wakes up soon and start helping you!!

ChuubyChick - sounds like you were really sick - so good to hear you are better! De Wet sounds like a healthy little boy.

Vision, the boys' school also close today at 13h00. Next week my sister and Ouma will look after them, then it's them and me for the rest of the holidays :woohoo: . Ewan only start on the 18th of January again  I have done some shopping - but still have a whole list as well :(

Simone - I think you made the right decision not going to the hospital.

Cookie - Monster, till when are you working?

Shame, hope all you ladies that was ranting and raving this last few days are feeling better today?? Luckily it's Friday!!

I am getting on well with my MIL, but still prefer my mother to help with the kids etc while I am in hospital - I just feel I can tell my mom exactly how I want her to do something, and she nows me so well, she knows how I prefer something to be done!

And ladies, I must say my husband is so wonderful and really helps a lot in the house! I don't have to ask, he helps with everything, and in the evening, when I am so tired, he baths the kids and puts them to bed! I am feeling really sorry for you girls that doesn't have that support - I don't think I would have been able to cope otherwise! Thinking of you!

Have to do some packing and shopping this weekend. Can't do too much at once anymore! Have a braai at my brother in JHB on Saturday evening, and a braai on Sunday as well. So wish we just could have stayed home on Sunday.

It's raining in Pretoria - I am so relieved - struggled with the heat this week!

Hope each and everyone of you has a lovely weekend!

Hello Lovely Ladies :woohoo:

Sorry for being MIA yet again, its so difficult to type on my BB, but i try and keep up todate with the posts. Havent been on a PC for a while now, been on the road mainly for work and it is really starting to take its toll on me as i struggle to get out the car after the drive.

Anyway so glad all the baba's are doing well, cant say much for the mommies. Sound like we are all suffering from carrying these miracles. But its all worth it in the end.

Had a really good laugh now at you ladies (Maureen, Zelf and Ash) i think it has something to do with the moon or something. We have the same in my house. I get up early in the morning to get everything ready for the day ahead and in the evenings when i eventually get home its time to cook, clean and whatever else. I think i only get to bed at around 12 while my BF plays playstation or computer games all night long. ITS JUST BLOODY FRUSTRATING MAN :headbang:

Little Vica is looking so gorgeous everyday when i see her pics on Amandas FB, cant believe she is so small though.

Mandy & Simone, i am so jealous that you ladies are on your last couple of weeks. I am really struggling to walk, but Dr says its normal to feel like this once baby has turned into head down position.

This Xmas is a boring Xmas, both grandparents are going away for the xmas holidays. So we not going big this year. Will be putting up the xmas tree this weekend. Xmas present aint happening. Zelmari found all her presents in the cupboard and decided to open all of them herself. (and i was wondering why it was so quite in her room, thought she fell asleep).

Anyway got to go again, back on the road. BLEH!!! really not lus.

Chat again soon
