Hi ladies

Anyone in CT go to the baby expo?

We bought a new car seat for my little girl - the booster one that she can use till she is 12! Also bought a camp cot (so unexpected as it was a good price and we have a whit wooden cot but think it may come in handy to leave in another part of the house).

I'm getting so huge now. At least my little one started sleeping in her own bed in her own room on Friday night and she is doign so well with toilet training too. Really growing up now!

I started aqua aerobics this morning - have a feeling I'm going to be lights out really early!

Hubby birthday tomorrow and he said he is taking the afternoon off and booked us massages at the 12Apostles:-) Can't wait!!!

Its nice that you ladies can meet up in Pretoria. Pity there isn't a CT meet up group. Would have been nice to chat in person.

Anyways, off home soon. Heartburn is really bad these days. I have gaviscon and rennies everywhere!!

Pretoria girls, I really enjoyed our meet. It was really nice meeting all of you. We chated more about the LO's already in the picture than our pregnancy. When I got home I remembered things I wanted to ask. Now I'm trying to think what wanted to ask now i cant remember. Go figure, LOL. LO kept us busy, we didnt take any pics.

When I got home on saturday, I had a burst of energy and tackled Zaylee and Ruan's cupboards and sorted them out.

O ja, saw yesturday shops have started with christmas decorations. So scary how the year has gone by..

Remember I posted early last week that Zaylee started walking. Which made me think she will never crawl. Well on friday night she decided to start crawling. I was so happy. Just so funny that she did everything backwards.

I have really missed chatting to you guys!!! Had to read a few pages to catch up as reception was so bad in Port Alfred and no 3G, we are very spoilt in JHB
The holiday was really nice - only had 3 days of beach weather but was nice to get away and my LG had so much fun.

How was the meet yesterday pretoria mommies - did you take pics??? Am so sad I missed it but will def try to make the next one!!!

Zelf medical aid is expensive but what would we do without it. I think for me, DH and LG we pay R4000 a month - thank goodness my DH's company contributes!!!

Going for an appointment with my gynae today so we will hopefully be able to see if its a boy or girl. Hope Bekah is ok at the appointment - she didnt like the 1st one and I dont have any1 to babysit this time cause my SIL's husband had an op this morning so she is busy and PIL are still on holiday

How was your weekend? How was the meet in PTA? Hope you took some pictures to put up for us.

Angi- I live on movicol for my constipation. Didnt have in in my first pregnancy but have had it these last two . But even when you take it you have to drink lots of water during the day to work. The action of the meds to to absorb water from your system into your colon to relieve the constipation.

So we went shopping yesterday!! Bought two new couches from Coricraft- DH says he thinks we are gong to have to replace the TV loungsuite too once the new couches are in the formal area. It takes 4-6 weeks for them to make the couches, so we have to wait a while. We also bought a nice coffee table and a 2.4m long diningroom table from Coricraft. We are getting 8 chairs from Furniture City as we liked the ones they had. We also bought 4 paintings to add to the 2 we already have. Looking so forward to it all being laid out. The cupboard ppl come today to fit Shiloe's cupboards and put in the sideboard in the diningroom.

I also thought one sex would dominate ChubbyChick, but we are pretty even! We currently pay R 6 142 for the 4 of us on medical aid!

Mummoo, I also just hope and wish that this little madam stays where she are till the new year. It's just for the timing of sending them to school, and all the schlep that goes with it, I would really like her to have a January birthday and not December. I notice with Ewan (who turns 5 in Jan 2012) and his friend who turns 5 now in Dec). They are at exactly the same level, but the friend has to go to school a whole year before Ewan! If you keep them back a year, then they struggle with sports the rest of their school days! But, it's out of our hands.

Hi CC, we are on the Discovery Classic Saver plan. And yes, you get the bag only if you are on Vitality. I don't know what we will be paying next year, because my DH works for Telkom and I think they pay 2/3 of the medical aid.
