AFM, i've been feeling kinda weird lately. See, last pregnancy, i was very active and went to the gym and went out etc etc. I was just carrying on with life. But then, I almost had a MC at 17 wks and almost lost the baby. I had been to the gym just that morning & although I can never be sure, I always feared that I had been overdoing it and that's why i almost lost my baby.

So, this time, I've been a lot more chilled. hardly any exercise, stay home a lot...but now I am bored. Like Really really bored. There is just no way I can continue like this. I need to get a life...literally.I've never done well with being idle. So, I'm thinking of going back to the gym but sticking to things like yoga and pilates & resistance training rather than hectic cardio... but I'm thinking of calling my gyane to check 1st.

@MonicaR: Yay for Team Pink But isn't it a bit too early to tell yet? Glad you had a good 1st appointment. I gave birth at sandton mediclinic.

@Joybaby: did the Estate agent show up?

@Mrs SH, I can imagine how it was to watch all the drunken craziness and knowing that were it not for the bean, you'd probably be right in the mix Makes you seriously consider never drinking again when you see how people become when drunk...buy hey, we all need a release sometimes and to let our hair down and throw caution to wind.

Well, I'm 11weeks 1 day today. Still taking the Utrogestan tablets (progesterone). My Pregnavit is almost finished and I don't think I'm going to buy more. I hate the smell. It makes me nauseous. I'm going to try Chelapreg and keep taking the folic acid tablets.

Yay, glad to see all the new faces on here. Congratulations on your pregnancies and I hope you have a wonderful journey.

Sorry I've been MIA - last week was crazy at work and i didn't have time to log on. I'm currently 10 weeks with our second baby. I'm still getting hit hard with morning sickness / all day queasiness. It subsided last week and I thought that was the end of it, but today i"m really really really struggling. Last time it lasted until 12/13 weeks, so I'm praying that it's the same this time!

Other than that all is good. I applied for a different position at work and should know by the end of this week. That lead me to announce my pregnancy slightly earlier than I wanted to, but because I work with the people already, I thought it would be unfair to not tell them. It's cool though, as probably about 70% of people here are female and have kids. Everyone has been real supportive.

I also told my friends and everyone as we went to a wedding over the wedding and instead of trying to avoid the 'why are you not drinking' questions, we decided to come clean on Friday as to not steal the shine of the wedding couple. It was a beautiful wedding, but man, I laughed at the drunk shenanigans and realised that I would have been in the thick of things had I not had little bean to save me from the embaressment.

It's our 4 year wedding aniversary on Thursday and my birthday next week Sunday. We're going away this weekend and next weekend DH and I are going to a spa/guesthouse for one night.

Anyway, that's it. Our next scan is the 28th - the week after next when I'll be 13 weeks. We're still thinking that we're not going to find out the sex - it's gonna be so hard not to find out, but I was thinking that perhaps I must ask my mom and sister to find out before my baby shower and then they announce it to us there (with all the guests knowing before us). I love surprises...

So awesome that your boss is so supportive of your news And a huge weight lifted now that you've told everyone. No need to hide your bump anymore!
I totally understand your decision to stick with 2. Pity there weren't two bubs in there
Age is a very important factor, not just the quality of your eggs, but getting older it will be harder to do the whole baby toddler age with as much energy.
Do you mind me asking what happened with your first child, the boy?

Robyn I also find my tummy growing much faster this time! I cant zip up some of my jeans, and i'm only 7 weeks along eeek! Already pulled out my yummy mummy band yesterday!

I turned 30 in November, so will still be 30 when baby arrives. If all goes well, we'll try the same length of time between no 2 & 3, so I'd be 32 or 33 then, which I think is still reasonable. But we'll see what happens. Life's handed out some hard knocks the last few years. Dont really have the energy for 2 nevermind 3!

Belaine happy 14 weeks

Shew yesterday I had the worst nausea ever, I thought I was gonna die!
I had it the entire day non stop, and actually threw up a few times too.
Today it seems much better again.
Funny how I was wishing for MS to 'feel pregnant' but after yesterday I'd be very grateful to never experience it again!

Had an extremely rough night and morning. Went to bed at midnight (Couldnt fall asleep and DH out of town till tonight), then from 1am K was waking up hourly crying. I think she was missing her dad cos earlier in the evening she kept saying "Daddy gone" and then this morning too. Poor little girl
It's horrible though cos tonight she wont see him either, his flight only lands after 11pm
Then this morning our gardener didnt pitch so had to run around like crazy trying to make a plan, because the estate agent is meant to come today to take photo's of the house to put it on the market to rent.
We finally came right, R300 later , and now the agent has to try get transport because her car is in service today. She said between 1 & 2pm, but we are now past that and still no show. I'm starting to get very irate after all my hard work this morning if its for nothing I'll be very upset.
I'm also waiting 'patiently' for her to arrive so that I can go and have a nap before fetching K from the daymom later.

One thing's for sure I'm buying myself Veggie Sushi for supper tonight! And I'm going to savour every single bite! Cannot wait!

Monic@R congrats at team pink again i think it is easier in a way if you have two of the same less shopping but i know you wouldnt mind a boy as well.

Congrats on team pink again! (yep, we typed at teh same time)

I'm so on the fence - would like a boy so have pigeon pair (and DH can have a son and SIL has 2 girls, so can add a boy to the mix)
but would also love another girl (sounds selfish, but it really does make life easier when you already have everything for a girl!)
