Congrats on the 14 week mark!
Is your tummy starting to grow now? By 13 weeks I could see a noticeable bump and by 18 weeks I started feeling the movements.

Monica its been very quiet indeed! I keep checking to see if we have any new members, I'm still the 'youngest' due date here.
Where did you go for your scan? How did it go? Pink or blue??? Oooh I'm so excited for mine!

AFM almost 7 weeks yipee! One week tomorrow and I'll see my baby for the first time. I am really taking strain in the nausea department this time around. With Kaylee I only suffered for 2 weeks, but this time it's an all day queasiness.
And this morning alone K had 4 runny diapers which I had to change
I landed up losing my breakfast, and then having to clean up my own mess made it happen again. I've landed with such heart burn because of it. And totally off any food. Even struggling with my water.
Otherwise I'm fine. Last time I had spotting by now and was so stressed. So the nausea, sensitive boobs and no spotting make me feel so much more better about it all this time around.
Took K for her check up with the surgeon today, and she's very happy with her.
Have to go to the cardiologist in 2 weeks time for a check up, and then only 3 months later. After that we could be at 6 monthly check ups which would be awesome!

Anyway, must go drop K at daymom for a few hours cos we are renting our house out and the agent coming to take photos tomorrow but the house is a huge mess!
I could also do with some sleep

We had a work thing on yesterday it was ok, and then afterwards a braai. the nice thing about it was that everyone was there so it was nice to meat all your colleagues partners.
one of my clleagues have a 10day old son ag shame they dont have much so im giving them my cot and car chair it was a "laatlam" they so thankfull for it.

We are 3 pg fairies and one is just a week behind me, so we had a nice chat, although they both are second time months.

a lot of them have a real hangover and the one lady got sent home to go sleep her hangover off which is not fair!! i could do with some sleep.

Tomorrow im 14wks i cant wait to get my blood results back will probably get them tomorrow.

With Dakota, we had the FA scan at Kingsbury and the technician could see a girl
So we can;t wait for that scan again as they are very good and accurate

We have been offline since thursday and i thought that I would have missed out on so much here on the forum - but luckily not too much.

sorry to here Tiagos mom - it is sad no matter what.

so im going for my big 12 week scan today at 14h45 - I can't wait!
a friend of mine who had twins also went to this same doc for her 12 week scan and apparently the scan is really really informative and you see so much. You get a big report afterwards and they do the blood tests first so that by the time you almost finished and you know the results. Apparently this doc was able to tell her what she was having at this 12 week scan. She was having twins and this doc told her she was having a boy and a girl at her 12 week scan. and he was right!
Im soooo excited that I might be finding out today what the sex of our baby will be......(I thought that it is still way too soon, but apparently not: )
so we will see.

then tomorrow is also the big day that i tell my boss that im expecting....i think 12 weeks is the time to tell everyone although most of my family and friends know already, but nobody at work yet. So wish me luck and hopefully he is ok with it.....

Hope you all had a nice weekend - at least the week is halfway through!

Arrgh - still 3 weeks to go before our next scan (FA scan) to see which team we are on
We already have names - MacKenzie for pink and Connor for blue

I'ts really getting difficult to hide my pregnancy and I'm only 9 wks!
Trying to hold out til 12wks before telling everyone
With my old boss, we were very close and knew we were trying so before I even told him, he asked me if I was
pregnant yet and I jsut had to say yes. But my new boss (who I;ve only been with since June) is abit different,
so we'll have to see how it goes (altho he did tell me the other week that I must have my kids close together, like his, so seems he'll be happy for me, since I'm just doing what my boss told me to! )

EM - in the 2nd pregnancy everything seems to happen faster - you show earlier, feel baby earlier etc
so you very well could feel baby inside

TM - exactly - a loss is a loss, no matter how far along. I MC'ed at 8wks and there is nothing anyone can say that will make the hurt go away. I think people just don't know what to say, they just try to say something positive for you.

BL - so exciting for your mom and sweet

Hi ladies

Hope you all had a nice, relaxed weekend. I am only back at work today. yesterday was on sick leave. On friday evening, I came down with a terrible flu which gripped me all weekend. I had absolutely no energy, headache, couging, sneezing, body aches. The works. It was awful. Only starting to feel slightly better now And ofcourse, I can't really take much for it besides Paracetamol becasue of the baby.

Speaking of the baby...I am 10 weeks,2 days today & I still don't feel any morning sickness, like at all. Is that weird? I keep worrying that that means that there is something wrong with the baby or the baby isn't growing properly or something. I know the gynae said i was lucky, but i feel more worried than lucky

Can't wait till next appointment. its in 2 weeks time at 12wks 5 days. He'll also then see if the pills he gave me for the placenta issue are working.

@ Tiagosmom, huge hugs lady!My heart just sank when I read your story. You are completely justified to feel sad and feel a huge loss. It was YOUR BABY. it was a life growing inside of you. Even if you were never expecting twins, you can't help but grieve for your child & to wonder what it would've been like to have both of them. Don't let anyone make you feel ridiculous for grieviong for your child. Keep strong.

To everybody, hope those little angels are just getting bigger& stronger by the day.

I can no longer suck in my tummy (like a lady should) so it just kinda stcks out like a beer-belly I couldn't be bothered anymore, but try not to wear very tight-fitting tops. I feel tiny flutters now & then in my tummmy but not sure if its baby's movements. Surely its way too early for that?
