I'm 9w4d today with a tummy that equals my 17wk bump from my 1st pregancy!
I just hope I can wait another 3wks to tell everyone (altho' they'll all probably say they noticed already!)
Thankfully the nausea & dizzy spells have gone and my boobs are growing tho not too sore, just seem to be getting hard already (like my milk is coming in)

ZoeCat - I saw your other post about the evil Gynae - you must def just look around for another one
This is someone you will form a very close & special relationship with (as well as your Paed)
so you must make sure it is the right person for you
There are so many around, just keep looking

Welcome to all the new mums to be in our group! Hope your journey with us is successful and healthy!!

So i went for my 12 week FA scan at Morningside Medi Clinic. Wow - what a lot of information. good news though is that is well with baby. There is minimal chance of downs syndrome which is good. We saw so much of our little baby who is only 6cm now. It is unbelievable that just about everything is developed already. Saw 2 arms and 2 legs and the hands and toes - with all the fingers and toes. They did so many measurements and checked everything and we got normal scan pics and 3D scan pics too! Was awesome!

The doc thinks that we having a girl!! Go Team Pink - again!!
Its ok - i thought I would be more disappointed finding out that it was not a boy! but strangely enough Im absolutely fine with it. I can do 2 girls. My brother has 2 girls, my BF's brother has 2 girls.... and i can see myself doing it. It also means that i won't have to buy too many things as I will just take out my LG's old stuff. Which is great!!

Our next scan is only on 13 April!

So I have a big belly already... quite scary actually! But anyways.

I told my boss and he was absolutely cool with it and told me that if I need to go and do what i need to go and do and take time off etc etc then I must go. So that is very nice of him. We have also told everybody now that im expecting so everyone knows - which is great, cos I now i don't have to hide my belly and the fact that Im not feeling well most days... I have a great excuse!!

So now that I know what we are expecting I need to get stuck in and clean out my LG's room and cupboard so I can see what I have for the new baby and what I will need to buy. I know I will need new mattresses for the cot and camp cot and perhaps new sheets too and some blankets - but will have to check it all!

Im so glad it is friday and weekend... time to catch up on some sleep!
Been Sleeping terribly actually - wake up every time I turn around and thta is alot. I can only lie on my sides so have to keep changing cos my hips get so sore! yes Im using a preggy pillow and every other pillow i can find just to get comfy at night.

so it looks like im the oldest here.... turning 35 in June!!
I have also decided that this is my last pregnancy. I always thought that if i had 2 girls that we would try for a 3rd in the hope it would be a boy - but i have made up my mind - no more - i had my boy but it was not meant to be So now i know that my family will be 4 and no more. I know you probably think how can i say that .... if you factor in my history and my age.... how old will i be if i end up having a 3rd baby in about 2 years time. NO NO NO - too old sorry!!
I will be very happy with my little family of 4 - shame my poor BF is going to get taken for a ride with all the girls in his life....

I found out 4 weeks ago im going to be a mama> Wow! isnt it the most amazing feeling!!! It wasnt a planned pregnancy,but none the less, what a little blessing

im so glad you are here now im not the only 1st time mom!! the advantage we have with all this 2nd time moms is all the advice we getting.

I can start noticing a bump but not as obvious that people that dont know me would notice.

Zoe my boobs are also very tender and dh said yip your boobs is getting bigger!!

I live in Alberton, Yep Married for 3 years, Will turn 30 in May this year.

No nausea as yet! I get many people asking me about that, but thank God that it's been so good so far.

I get the odd cramping in my lower tummy, sometimes feels like a stab and then nothing.
Boobs are very sore, and they growing My hubby keeps making comments on how huge they are getting, and all I say is "You can look but you can't touch"
I wake up awfully hungry in the morning, and am extremely tired throughout the day.

This is all amazing and new to me, and can't believe that I have been blessed with creating another human in me.
