Hopeful, they are gorgeous!! I hope that the moving sorts itself out quickly so that you can settle in your house..

Izzels, there is definitely a chance of the placenta moving so I'm just holding thumbs for that. In the meantime, I'm seriously going to look into the hypnobirthing classes. I'm glad to hear your DH also found it captivating - gives me hope that mine might too.

Ok, getting back to work now. I'll post the pic of my little angel tomorrow after we've gone. Hope you all have a super day.

Hi there ladies,

Shoe you are chatting up a storm again :) where to begin....

Trudie what a stunning pic!!!! Really cute!!

Jeanine, THAT IS AMAZING that you are doing so well on your eating plan. Really you should be proud of yourself not an easy task!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Mrs Tl enjoy the scan today cant wait for your scan pics :woohoo:

Yumna, congrats on the BOY, yes this thread was overflowing with oestrogen so glad we can start to balance the scale

Izzels I am so glad that you are enjoying the Hipno classes. I really think for any mommy wanting to go natural this is the best possible option. I fully believe that tension = pain in child birth. I am also happy that your DH is finding it informative, I can just imagine my moan and groan for two hours so really great if they also feel that they learn from it.

I hope that is every one if I left some one out please forgive me its this pregnancy brain

With my fetal assement scan we where surprised that they do some of it in 4D so that was really amazing!!. One of the girls was shy and did not want to move her arm away form her face but the other gave us a beautiful smile!!! I can not believe how amazing they are and perfect I was crying my eyes out when we saw the 4D scan even DH shed a tear. I cant help but feel very blessed. Below is a picture of the girls.
My weight gain is hectic I have gain 13kg at 24 weeks  I should gain about 21kg but I still have a long time to go and the most of their weight gain is still coming so I am a but nervous trying to eat better but to be honest I really struggle with portion control
other wise I am well starting to feel really uncomfortable and my feet are so swollen :( the swelling also does not come down which is terrible. I am also struggling to regulate my BP and jumps around from being to high to being to low. The figures aren't so high or so low that doc is concerned but some days it does make me feel very yucky. I am monitoring my BP on a daily basis and need to advise the doc if there are any drastic changes.
Other than that I just cant believe how time fly's. I booked my hospital bed this week and in T- 2 months I start my maternity leave.
The house is still a drama so still have not moved not sure when that will happen but I need it to be soon

Hi Ladies!

Yay Yumna! Another Boy! We have 7 baby girls here, so another boy might help balance all the estrogen.. hiehie! Congrats!

Mrs TL- I hope for your sake your placenta miraculously moves up.. That was one of the first things my gynae checked at my apt with him, where my placenta lies. Luckily mine is high up and at the back.. What are the chances of it moving up?
Even if you do have to have a C-section. I would still recommend hypnobirthing classes. Obviously the focus is on natural birth, but they give you "homework" to do every day. These exercises really do help to get rid of all the tension which you have and already in utero your baby will feel calmer and more relaxed. relaxed mom - relaxed baby.

They tought us some massage techniques last night which I am adamant my husband should practise now every night... hahaha! :P Its super easy back stroke type movements but boy oh boy, it feels soooo good! My husband keeps asking for his turn and is then very upset when he realises "its about the mother". shame.. so I do give him some massage too. he does need to feel it. goosebumps!!

I must say, after every class I walk away thinking "I can do this"!! Which is great for me, especially after the little freak out 3 weeks ago when I just felt so overwhelmed and anxious. We're all getting closer so much quicker.. Christmas is around the corner and then it's downhill from there! I mean, with hopeful having her C-section with her twinsies in January already. Can't believe its so close!

Looking forward to the 4D pics of all your lovely babes :-)

Good morning!

Now that I've seen Jade, I am so excited for our 4D scan tomorrow!! One of my colleagues told me to have coke an hour before the time. I am very sceptical seeing as I haven't had caffeine since that line on the test. I don't want to put Maria (we've decided on naming her after my Granny) through any stress so I'm hesitant on the coke thing. What did you do Trudie?

I feel huge but according to my last weigh in (at the Gynae 4 weeks ago) I gained 3kg. I am sure I've trippled that by now because I feel bigger by the day. I'll let you know after Friday as that is when I have my next weigh in (appointment)

Izzels, I've been reading up on hypnobirthing as well that's why I am so eager to find out how you experience it. I'll find out on Friday whether we'll have to have a C-section (Placenta Previa - my placenta is lying directly over my cervix at the moment). I desperately want to have a natural birth so if I get the green light for that, I'm enrolling for the classes as well.

Jeanine, we have a huge glass jar that is always filled with Quality street and those mini choccies - for visitors mainly (or that's what I tell myself). Nowadays however I find that for some reason that jar is emptying out at an alarming rate....

I've been very conscious of what I eat (nothing refined or processed and only water and so forth) My diet thus far consisted mainly of starches, protein and lots of veggies and fruit but nowadays I think chocolate has become a major food group.
