Hi Ladies.

New to the forum. Im about 10 weeks 3 days pregnant. Due date is around 21st February 2014. This is my first pregnancy.

Bianca so sorry to hear about your loss.

Wow can you really see the gender so early? i cant wait to know the gender so i know what to buy.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

We went to Baba Indaba yesterday and what a great experience it was. Best of all was the stand that did 4D scans! I have attached pics of my LO at 11 weeks 2 days only 4.7cm long

Only 10 more days to finding out the gender (holding thumbs!).

So very excited, just want to start the babyroom!!!! But will have to wait a little longer...

Pregnancy symptoms are basically gone and I feel almost like I did before I got pregnant. Lets hope this lasts...

Bianca I have no way of knowing what you are going through but I think that every person deals with it in their own unique way. You are an amzing stong women and I think it would be really great to start a face to face support group. All my love and remember to be gentle with yourself in this time of healing

Thanks for the good wishes ladies. I can't explain how I'm feeling. It's very weird, I was very sad and tearful before the doctor, but once it was all confirmed, I became a lot stronger. The fact that I have had 3 now means the doctor will pay more attention to the issues for following pregnancies, and he's sent me for loads of blood work. I'll only get the results in about a week.

Izzels I know what you mean. For me the worst part is the having to wear a pad. I haven't worn one since I was about 12. I only ever use tampons during a period.

I decided that my brain needed distraction today, so I went to work this morning, and I did a Pure Romance party this afternoon. It was a really long day, but I'm really hoping that tonight I sleep through. I haven't had a good nights sleep in weeks. So I commiserate with those of you having a hard time sleeping!

I am going to unsubscribe to this thread for now, but I promise to come and let you guys know when I have my BFP. It's weird though, I've made a pact with DH that we won't tell a single other person next time until we get to 12 weeks. The un-telling is so much harder than the telling. Especially since I'm not overly emotional about it right now.

I am really thinking of starting a face to face support group for women with recurrent miscarriage. I would really love to meet other women who may have similar reactions to me and just to be able share our feelings whatever they may be. What do you think? And I have this weird desire to announce my miscarriage in Facebook. I don't want the sympathy, I want people to know. No one ever seems to talk about miscarriage. Maybe I will do it thought a blog post....

Oi die min slaap is terrible.. gewoonlik is ek 'n BAIE goeie slaper, 'n bom kan langs my afgaan en ek kan binne sekondes weer slaap. (lying flat! Kan glad nie glad nie regop sit en slaap nie!!)

rondom 6-8 weke het ek baie moeilik geslaap, as ek eers wakker word le ek vir seker 'n uur en rondrol en is wawyd wakker. Maar deesdae (seker omdat dit so koud is en ek snuggle met my warm kombers) slaap ek weer soos 'n baba! Guess I should enjoy it while I can as it seems it will NOT last forever.

The bump - there is a bump, but a pregnancy bump?? mmm dunno.. Ek kan hom intrek nog met moeite. when I sit down there are only 2 rolls now, instead of (five)!?! haha!

AFM: I don't sleep all that well at night but its just me being restless and having to run to the toilet. I have no nausea but im hungry all the time these days.
I too have alittle belly but I suppose its me just being bloated.

Hopeful, good night sleep - lucky you DH woke me up just after 10pm when he came stomping up the stairs, and then DS woke us both up at around 4am, when he decided he's had enough sleep. I didn't even bother trying to sleep after that - put DS in bed with DH (so the snorer and kicker can entertain each other ) and climbed into DS's bed with a book.

Happyness - I remember being bloated at around 10 weeks with my first pregnancy! wouldn't say it was quite 6 months (since I have the 10wk and 6mnt foto's to compare ) but it was definately noticable. I'm bloated this time round as well, but it just blends in with all the flab - so other than that my jeans are tight, I haven't noticed

Ek gaan volgende week maandag vir my EERSTE scan - sal 9weke 5 dae wees. - so geen scan foto's van my af nie - en gaan nie gou bump foto's neem nie - het al 6 maande swanger gelyk... VOOR ek swanger was .

Met my seun kon die gynea al op 13 weke die geslag sien - hy wou nie homself 100% commit nie, maar hy het vir ons 'hints' gegooi (sy presiese woorde: "you see that between the legs? that is NOT the umbilical cord )
