Don't even START on the sleep issue I've woken up between midnight and 2am every single morning for the last week! Get up to wee - and then have the choice of either staring at the roof listening to the chainsaw, sorry DH next to me snoring, or going to lie on the couch....
Most nights I choose the couch - its a sleeper couch, so big enough, but right next to the open window (for the cat), so it's cold, no matter how many blankets I pile on. Most nights I struggle so much to fall back asleep, I end up reading or playing on the tab for an hour or two

Jeanine, sorry to hear that you are not feeling well, funny enough I also started to through up at 8 weeks. Most morning which is the worst as there is nothing in my stomach but during the day although I am nauseous I don't through up unless I eat something that induces it. I struggle with food at this stage because one day some thing is fine but the next day I cant stand it. Mostly its rich, fatty or oily foods that don't stay down but I also struggle with red meat the thought of it puts me off so I am living off chicken and not even that works all the time.
At least I know that baby is okay and growing I would have gone insane now if I did not have the morning sickness to let me know every thing is fine.

How are you ladies sleeping? I have to get up to pee 2-4 times at nights ( even though I dint drink much liquid at night ) and then I really struggle to fall back asleep and when I do sleep I have very restless dreams so I wake up tired in the morning. Are any of the other ladies experience this?

Other than that I actually can not complain as I think I have it very mild so I try to stay positive and enjoy my pregnancy

AFM: It would seem that I have now reached the puking stage of morning sickness Threw up last night, and again this morning!! Hope it will at least stay away during the day - my desk is VERY far away from the bathroom, needing both a tag AND a key to get to it... and almost nobody here knows I'm preggies!

On the other hand - I think I've now realised that I need to drink a LOT more fluids - (TMI warning) both times I puked, there was almost no liquid in my stomach! Throwing up dry chunks of food - NOT NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm giving tea a try again, see if it still puts me off, because the water and juice is NOT working - I have to force myself to drink more often than not

I am the one with the KFC Famous Bowls obsession, but DH would never have got that for me LOL. We got Woolies microwave curries. My favourite quick dinner.

I'm still spotting a bit, but hoping it's all normal. I'm really glad I'm seeing the Doc tomorrow though. Hopefully I can put my mind to rest.

Hi TBS, I am really glad that they where able to get you in and I am sure that every thing will be fine but rather safe than sorry. Big hug, just relax know ( I know that is impossible but try ) and enjoy the evening maybe ask DH to take you out to dinner or get take out and a DVD ( mmm your the one with KFC bowls possession right hehehe )

I called and spoke to the Dr. He's not particularly worried but they have managed to squeeze me in for a scan tomorrow morning. I'm hoping that all goes well and I've just been a big scaredy cat. I'll let you all know after my appointment how it went.
