My one brother lives in Tanzania, the other one in Randfontein
My parents was away for the weekend, and my sister was also doing her things, so no one was really close to do it in person this weekend, and I just had to get it done.

So we have a whatsup group, and we do the pic of the day from every one. So after my scan, I decided to do the scan pic, my picture of the day. My brother from Tanzania jsut said WT* and the rest was quite for some time before they said anything. I am sure they were all shocked and suprised by the news.

I do not think my cousin took it well, she is due about a month before me, but I am not worried about her.

So my one boss is out of the country at the moment, so I am waiting for him to get back. We are going to a halloween party on the 31st of Oct with the bosses, so I maybe going to tell them that day (Will see)
Or maybe dress up as a pregnant ghost or something?

So my next 2 appointsments are booked
07 Nov - Midwife
30 Nov - 20 week scan

We also decided not to do the downs blood test, as we could see the nose bone, and the neck measurement was perfect.

Congrats on telling the parents, am happy that finally you are releaved and they can also share in the joy with you, how did you break the news??? over dinner table orinformally pls hare. Take courage and tell your boss, he/she won't beat you*hides* no matter how they react. Let it out and be free.

AFM am doing well and keeping on with the 40 day challenge, I really feel good and am loving it. Am feeling more frequent kicks but light still.

Hope you all had a stunning weekend. We had great weather in J'burg and I got sunburned a bit teaching my daughter to swim. Ai, the things we do as mothers - I put sun block on her but not me - clever ne?

Goggatjie - stunning pic - glad all went well!!! Congrats so far on team pink!!! Glad you told your family and I am so happy that they are happy with you.

MakatK - thanks for the great article. I used to talk to my daughter all the time and the day she was born when they brought her to me and I started speaking to her she stopped crying immediately - it was one of the most special moments that still bring tears to my eyes if I think about it.

To all the other pregnant fairies - hope you are all well and that the MS and tiredness will start fading.

AFM - eventually reached 12 weeks Tomorrow we are off for a 2 day work conference (not looking forward to it but anyway).
