Hi ladies!
So sorry I have been quiet! I have been so busy I just don't know where the time has gone, I cannot believe it's wednesday!!!
So let me try to reply to all messages (sorry if I miss things out - I am at work, but I'm taking 10mins to just do some me things

)
MommyMe, I also couldn't get onto moomie when I was there and didn't want to walk up to any randoms hehe! I also expected a lot more from the seminar to be honest. I wasn't too impressed. I also found that it was a bit too crowded and hot (don't know if that was just my hormones going crazy!) and there was never any water when I went looking! So anyway, I left early because I just got fed up. The goodie bags also weren't so great. Mostly vouchers where you actually have to spend money to get money off.
Joanie, that's so great that family and daddy can feel baby! Yay! I'm almost 24 weeks now and I put my hand there last night and I felt him kicking on the outside. But as soon as hubby put his hand there he stopped kicking haha!
As for the c section - you really must do what makes you comfortable and calm. If you go into a natural birth worried and stressed then it is going to make it worse and you may end up having an emergency c section anyway. A friend of mine is actually so terrified of something going wrong with natural birth that the gynae said she has to have a c section because her stress levels will not make anything easy. There is a name for it, I forgot it at the moment. haha! Have you spoken to your gynae? We are very lucky here in sa that they do do elective c sections. Whereas in uk and europe they are very against them and only allow it if you really need it. Just look at your pros and cons and chat to your doc. I know they do an exam when you're about 36 weeks (I think) to kind of get an idea if baby will pass through your birth canal easily or not. All got to do with the way your bones have shifted and how big your birth canal is. Anyway, just do what you feel is right, and that will be the right choice
AFM, I am so incredibly busy I don't know what to do with myself! I feel like all I do is work! It's great and I'm so happy to have this dream job, but I just feel a bit overwhelmed sometimes. I think I'm just so tired so that's what's doing it. Getting up at 5am and then working non stop all day and then getting home and still cooking and cleaning a bit is just too much at the moment! See me I'm getting all emotional now and carried away haha! Didn't sleep well last night as well because little Nathan was lying in a very strange position where it was actually hurting me so I had to get up and walk around and move him around to lie down again. Anyway! It's all worth it. Whenever he kicks I feel so much love that I forget about all the tiredness and soreness
As for maternity leave...I'm still undecided. Nathan is due on the 11 Jan, but the problem comes in that with my family (3 of us children), we were all premature, my brother was 9 weeks prem, i was 2 weeks prem and my younger brother was 6 weeks prem. So guess I'm just worrying I will be prem. Also with the medication I'm on (for epilepsy), the only side effect is premature labour, which my doc has warned me about but she said it will be detrimental to mine and babies health if I stop the meds. Anyway! That's my little story. So I'd LIKE to take leave from 1 January, but if my doc advises me to take from before (or if Nathan decided to make an early appearance), then I'll go with it

My 'probation' period at new job ends at the end of Dec, and then I get a raise, so I'd really like to hang on until then hehe!
Hope everyone has a great day!
