Nadia, mmm well last year my sister-in-law got really awesome goody bags. This year's didn't seem to be so nice (for me and what I compared it to hers last year)

We received the following:
Mini Johnsons hamper with baby cream, small tip to toe wash, small baby oil, wipes I think and perhaps one or 2 other small items.

In the goody bag was a armband for timing feeding I think. A Nuk dummy, 5 Huggies new born nappies, Tommee Tippee spoon, first-aid gel, 3 magazines, a electrical plug blank of. if I missed something, please add Robs.

There was also a few vouchers from like Naartjie where you have to spend R450 and get R150 off. A take a lot voucher of R100 when you spend more than R250. A R500 Baby store voucher when you register for Netcells (when storing babies stemcells-this cost around 10 to 15k or more.

So that was more or less it.

Robsyc, what did you make of the babysense seminar? Not sure if you went to same session as MommyMe?

MommyMe, were the goodie bags nice? Heard that they were supposd to be quite cool.

Everything is going very good with me had my 30th Birthday yesterday

Went up with the cable way in harties that was quite nice rather scary as well
but it was lots of fun

Mommyme i am almoust 24 week and hubby hasn't been able to feel baba move as well i understand what you mean with the "inside" kicking - ag maybe in a few weeks baby will be strong enough to kick nice and hard.

Hope you all had a great weekend, mine was good to. Loved the weather yesterday.

I must say I am not feeling Lea move and kick so often, its still very much "inside" kicking, like inwards if that makes sense. Hubby also still cant feel. He's getting very frustrated, but all in good time.

So we went to the Babysense seminar on Saturday. it was ok, I really enjoyed the speakers, but maybe I expected a little bit more. How did you other ladies find it. I tried looking for you in the crowd of what I can remember from the pics, but wasn't sure and couldn't get into moomie with my phone, so didn't want to stalk a stranger and walk away in shame, haha. I was exhausted by the time we got home.

I hope everyone will have a beautiful day, mine didn't start well with traffic and stuff, but once I type here it all starts getting better, so I will pop in a few times today

oh yes and Joans hope your parents enjoyed your bump

Thinking of you Natsvan, I know its not easy, but hang in there. mmm maybe ill be giving the cloth nappies a try, how many do you need for a start?

Shame natsvan, I know how hard ti is for you as wife to see your husband go through a tough time just because they have a heart of gold and get taken advantage of. The EXACT same thing happens to my hubby all the time. It is so frustrating for us as women! Just hang in there, and it will get better. Job hunting whilst pregnant is hard unfortunately. Just stay positive.
As for the whole cloth nappy thing...I must say I am still not entirely convinced. It still sounds like too much effort maybe I'm just going to be a lazy mother haha! I just know that I won't have much time maternity leave and then baby will be at a creche and they certainly won't go through all the effort that my husband or myself would so I don't see the point for us. But I do so love the designs that you get! Maybe I will still look into it

Joanie, I heard that if you book at Panorama they give you a free 4D scan! Unfortunately I am at Milnerton Medi Clinic and they don't have that facility there. But I am very lucky because when I went to panorama for the last scan and he was so stubborn and wouldn't show us his face, they said we could come back in 4 weeks for a quick check. They are so lovely there!

Haha your parents are going to get a shock seeing you your tummy is going to be a hand magnet
