hi Ladies

So happy its Friday. I'm really not in the best of spaces at the moment at work. because I went over to a contract due to resigning and some other decisions, my previous sick leave of about 3 years vanished. so now my boss seems to have a issue with my sick leave I've taken the past few weeks. its not that much, but with the accident and the bleeding last week, it ads up. so I am really just feeling like taking my bag and leaving. you prob think i'm overreacting but if you know the history of my 3 years here and going through the miscarriage last year, it will all make sense. Anyway, im counting the days till I finish and then will prepare for babe to come and after that when the time if ready will go to a job that is worth it and are going to follow my dreams rather than working for money ! perhaps easier said than done, but so many people have achieved it, so that's my action plan!

Sorry for offloading, I just had to get it of my chest.

Hi Ladies!

Almost weekend had a pretty rough week! For some reason my notifications were also going to my spam folder. Really odd.

Glad to say I'm feeling a lot better. Recovery has been quite slow, but I'm painfree now except for the occasional twinge in the kidney region, but it seems to be going away with time, so I'm just taking it easy in case. Also need to rest up because I have a big freelance audio post production job coming in at the end of the month. A whole TV series in just 3 weeks and that while I'm still teaching half day. So it's going to be a really rough month of October, but I'm hoping for the best as it's a nice opportunity and quite well paid. So DH is just going to have to support me quite a lot throughout.

MommyMe ek dink ekt ook dalk bietjie braxton hicks. Dit voel net asof die lae deel van my bump baie hard word, en dan is dit kort daarna weer normaal. My magie het die afgelope maand BAIE groter geword! ek is nou regtig lekker rond, en dis nog vreemd vir my dat vreemdelinge vir die eerste keer nou kan sien dat ek swanger is.

Robyn yay for pram and carseat! Pics are adorable We bought our travel system at baba indaba so it's been chilling in our apartment for a while now. Basically we have everything except a couple of small items which I will wishlist for babyshower. Other than that I think we've already bought too much stuff!

Crazy to think how far we've come. Feels like yesterday that we were all still battling morning sickness, haha! Hope you ladies have a great day and weekend!

We had the fetal anomaly scan on Tues, and it went very well! Little guy is growing perfectly and everything looks great. The doc tried to show us a 4D image of his little face but he just wouldn't move his hands! Then we went to check the heart and saw he moved his hands so moved back to his face and he quickly put his hands in front of them again haha! He wants to surprise us I think We have another scan in 5 weeks and she said that she will do a little 4D scan and see his face because he'll also be a bit more plump then so will be much better. Yay! I'm so impatient to see him, I also just want to hold him haha! I know the time will come, I have just been wanting it so badly so for long and now it seems to be taking forever

I've attached 2 pics from the scan..in one you can see his little alien face resting on his hands, that's the best profile we could get. In the second one you can just see his arms and his little hands balled into fists covering his face. He was very stubborn hehe!

Hope you are all having a wonderful week! Cannot wait for the weekend, my folks are coming to visit from Durban. Haven't seen them in months.
Oh and we bought our pram set yesterday! So excited! We got the TFK Buggster and Recaro car seat. Saw it at Baba Indaba and just fell in love with it! Has anyone else got theirs?

Hi ladies

I'm counting the days till next week Tuesday for the 20 week scan, will know for sure what's going on. Bleeding got worse from Sunday morning, always a lot in the mornings and clears up a bit during the day. Some evenings and then again morning.

Yesterday it was kinda vague and cleared up totally by yesterday afternoon. This morning back again but a bit lighter than Sunday. So its definitely a rollercoaster but I am feeling soo relaxed and not stressing about it, I know everything will work out perfectly and im just trusting in God.

Oh my word Karmie, ek het erg cravings vandag, tamatie simba chips, droewors, avo..neverending! haha. Sjoe en ek stem saam met die maag wat so groei, myne voel rerig huge asof dit elke dag net meer en meer groei.

Alicia baie geluk, ek dink die tweede helfte gaan vinniger as die eerste helfte ne! Exciting.

Julle ek het nog net soos 2 maande oor van werk. Oh my hat! Sien uit maar wonder ook wat ek heeldag gaan doen alleen by die huis.

Nadia hope you are enjoying your holiday, I am jealous too!

Do any of you have Braxton hicks? I think it is what I have been feeling a few days this week, feels like everything is pulling into one point. Could this perhaps be baby? not sure?

I am seeing my OBGYN tomorrow morning for a check up. My tummy feels like it has grown a lot in the past three weeks, so keen to see how big baba is!
