Robyn try not to worry too much, lots of preggos experience some bleeding at some time or other, so it's probably nothing, but I hope it stops soon!

Karmie, I believe everything happens as it should, I'm sure you'll do great with the business I think it will just be an adjustment having a baby around, but we women can do the impossible if need be! It is really exciting tho, wish you the best with that!

AFM I haven't been doing too great. I started having some bad kidney pain yesterday, spoke to doc who said I should have an urine test today to check out whats going on, but by 10pm last night the pain was really bad so hubby took me to the hospital. Turns out there's definitely an infection, but we ended up waiting until 1am for the doc who was on call, and he didn't want to prescribe anything as I'm allergic to penicillin so it's a bit more complicated and it's a call my gynae should make. So he sent me home, had to drink some panados and suck it up. Went for more detailed test at pathcare this morning, because doc needs to see exactly what and where this is (it is defs in the region of my right kidney tho, nothing else is painful at this stage, and also I've had weird infections like this before that start with my right kidney) but I'm still waiting to hear what I can do, will probably pick up a prescription tonight. Until then I'm just bearing with it, pretty painful but at least baba is kicking up a storm so I know he's fine, which is obviously priority nr 1.

Sorry I have been so quiet, I have missed a lot!

We had my LGs first birthday party this weekend, and it was sooo much fun! She laughed and really entertained everyone with her antics, like she knew it was all about her. Here is a pic of her having her first piece of cake ever!

Robsyn, wow, you are so lucky with your new job! I started a new business in June this year, and a week later I found out we are pregnant again. So, not the best timing, and working for yourself means no maternity pay if not working. So I will have to take as short as possible maternity leave, as unfortunately not only is there a financial impact, but also I am concerned that the business (which in thankfully taking off very well) will suffer if I am gone for too long. I have been trying to suppress thoughts about this, as it is really getting me down, but I will have to face reality somehow.

As for family drama, don't I know it! I have now learnt to just nod and try to stay neutral, as it does not matter how good your intentions, as soon as you get involved, somehow you end up with egg on your face. Easier said than done, especially if you are on the receiving end! At least with us being pregnant, we can have a good rant and blame it on hormones afterwards

I am definitely in for a meet-up, Century City also suits me fine!

APotgieter, shame a sick child is never fun. I hope he is feeling better! That's a lovely name, very unique I moved from Pretoria to Cape Town 3 years ago, and I will never look back hee hee!

Nadia, I start work at 7am, but I have to get up early to get ready and make my lunchbox and all of that. And it takes me half an hour to get to work. I also have to do full face of makeup every day because I deal with huge clients! So have to put on my face haha! Sometimes may have to come in at ridiculous hours because we deal with a lot of US and European companies. Anyway, definitely worth it!

I had some more bleeding this weekend, only when I wipe, but it's still so stressful! I have the 21 week scan next week so I am just going to wait until then (and probably constantly worry), but that's the joys of being a mommy right?! There will never be a day again where we don't worry
