hi ladies! thanks for getting the thread back :)

Gloei..so sorry that the physio didn't tell you what you wanted to hear. I hope that you will get rid of the pain at least.
Glad that our little one is doing well. :)

Nels_n..I wish I could have chickens..hehehe.
I totally understand the sleepless nights from congestion. I feel so sorry for them when they can't breath nicely. Fynn gets SO upset. Wish I could tell him that crying will make it worse. Shame.

RonelleB..Fynn is doing much better. It's a week later and he still has a little snotties but not too bad and only in the morning.
Glad laila had no fever or grumpiness. Fynn had a mild fever but that was it.
Sure the cyst will go away on it's own. If not, then surgery will get rid of it and you can move on. Hope the uterus shrinks. Sending good vibes.
So jealous. I better start running. We bought a "jogger"pram so I better use it. hahaha. But i think I feel ready to start soon. Just not so keen on taking baba out into the cold when he is a bit sick.

I am absolutely not looking forward to work at all. I go back in 2 months time. I really ish I could have 6 months. Last week we found a daycare, so glad about that. I have no idea how one person can look after 6 babies. But I guess he wont get the attention he does when he is with mommy. So far in preparation I started expressing in the early morning after feed. Trying to get it at a nice time so that I can continue when I go back. We were using that expressed milk to top up at night when my milk was running low, now I have enough milk so I started storing it in the freezer for daycare. Daddy loves being able to feed so I was trying to get enough to give him a little bottle at night and store some but suddenly baba is not interested in the bottle. He just wants boobie. Poor daddy. I want to start expressing at around 11 and then 2-3pm so that my body is prepared for extra milkies when I go back to work. Then a can breastfeed at night. I am planning to add some formula to give him some energy as well. Not sure what to do about him not wanting the bottle. He was taking it fine.

I am sarting to wean myself off the eglynol. It is making me very hungry and have been on it for about 2 months so should be ok to wean without any milk drop right? Taking fenugreek incase. Hope I keep the milk up otherwise I mus stay on it.

My little worry at the moment is that (sorry for TMI)...my hubby and I have not been intimate since I was pregnant, trying to get baby out..lol. He is waiting for me to initiate something but I feel gross. I feel podgy, dirty, and totally distracted by my darling baby. Not sure what to do but I guess I am also nervous and scared I don't feel much.

Thankfully I am a wahm and have decided not to take alot of business till next January, I really want to spend time with K. Gloie@ home the help you recieving is paying off, I am considering getting someone for 1 day a week.
My upside is that I finaly made homemade yoghart and muesli and really enjoyed it. Now want to try make detergent. Will be getting chicks soon for eggs and meat and redoing the garden so will be scarce for a while or and finishing to house. Enjoy your day ladies

Hi Ladies!

My apologies for deleting the thread!!! The reply and delete button on my side are right underneath each other...

Meags, great to hear from you!!! Hope you got my private message? :woohoo:

RonelleB - Great to hear from you!!
I am so glad to hear baby L is doing great!! It is such a blessing when they are healthy and thriving. Hope the rash isn't serious, but as you say, fever will indicate if there is more going on (or loss of appetite). Ahhh....the running sounds wonderful - it does wonders if one can get out for some fresh air.

I am having a dull aching pain at times, like period pain down there. There hasn't been a day in the past 9 weeks without pain. I am having better days with say an hour or two without any pain but it doesn't last long. The pain is a 5 out of 10 kind of pain or less, so not intense pain but nonetheless there.

Next hurdle I have to make peace with...no more pilates for me. All the mat pilates work is not suitable for the prolapse. My heart is heavy about this since it is the only type of exercise that I LOVE. Understanding more about pelvic floor health I even think that my pilates of the past 6 years might have contributed to the prolapse. Hopefully I can look into yoga which is similar. Will speak to the Fisio next week about that.

The fisio said that the therapy and exercises that I will be doing with her twice a week for the next 6 months won't heal the prolapse, but it will help to reduce the symptoms associated with it. I guess I was hoping to hear the words "you will be healed" and not "this isn't going to go away most likely". But instead she said that all I can do now is to learn how to live with this and move forward. Gulp.

Baby is doing so well and her head measured larger at the Pead appointment this week - which is great news. We will have to measure every month to monitor the growth of the skull and checking that the sutures do not fuse hard and remain soft and pliable.

Hoping that everyone else is in good health and hopefully getting more sleep at night?!! xx

Hi mommies

Just checking in... hope everyone is still well?

Gloei_ well done on getting that helper! I am sure it makes a HUGE difference to your day. How are you feeling now? Are you in pain?

Faffy_ How's Fynn doing now? Still snotty? Shame man. Like mentioned before I use sterimar and the nose frieda - only had to use it twice till now but both times worked a charm.

Nelsn, Newbie and Starry_ You're awfully quiet! I trust this is a sign of blissful times.

On our side all is OK. Having ups and downs as can be expected. Laila really breezed through her vacc's. No side effects or even fussiness. The Pead is saying she's growing wonderfully and she's a healthy baby other than the odd occasion of wind and cramps and the sleepless nights. She was a bit fussy yesterday though and this morning has a slight rash on her tummy and chest. No fever. I will give it time, probably no big deal.

Oh, and some feedback from my 6 wk checkup, I have a huge cyst! Doc says to give it a couple of weeks and if still there and growing will have to have it removed. Also my uterus is not shrinking back... :-( He gave me some tabs and we will review in Aug / Sept. Other than that, I started running again this week. Getting out is great, I take Laila with in the stroller, though we're not strolling. Shame she bounces all over in the stroller when I run but she sleeps through it.

When is everyone going back to work? I am starting to panick as to how I will arrange my life when going back? My previous routines obviously won't work. Don't have a clue as to how to start planning for that. Sigh....

Have a lovely weekend - keep warm.

Hi Faffymum,

So glad to hear the cramping is getting better. Hopefully soon things will go much easier as it did for us too.

I would HIGHLY recommend the baby vac that you get from Dischem. You suck out (it works very gently) all the snot and baby can breathe!! It also helps to feed baby in a more upright position. Good luck, I know it is horrible to see baby suffer! Your super strong breastmilk will help to get baby well soon!
