I am not sure where you are situated, but I got my extenders at this chinese shop near my work in Wynberg, CT. If you google it, there is quite a few places you will be able to get it also. I paid like R18 for 3.

I am also 24 weeks and in my weekly pregnancy newsletter, it mentioned about the tiredness kicking in again at this stage. Lucky us!

Tina, where do you get your bra extentions from?

Nixy, glad you enjoyed the scan. The bump will soon arrive...

I'm getting really tired thsee days and I'm only 24 weeks. Work is hectic as well, so I suppose that's a contributor

I went for the fetal scan yesterday... how amazing! I finally feel like it's real The sonographer told me we've got a really active baby - he wouldn't stop twisting and turning.

I feel bad about my weight now LOL.. My first appointment I weighed 103kgs and I'm now 98kgs. It keeps fluctuating between 97kgs and 99kgs - but baby is healthy and weighs 371 grams as of yesterday!

I still have a tiiiiny bump so I'm super jealous of all you ladies that have had to buy maternity clothing already!

Morning Ladies

Here I thought this was supposed to be the “honeymoon trimester”. I was so relieved to be past the nausea/fatigue, but only to be greeted by heartburn and ligament pains.
@Sara, sorry lol, but I was 90kg at my first weigh in, which was 8 weeks ago! I will probably find out next week how much I have picked up since then. But I am loving my bump and not worried about that now as I know I am eating healthy stuff and will work my ass off after the pregnancy.
Regarding the heartburn/indigestion, firstly I made sure all my bras are as loose as possible. I even bought me those bra extenders so I can hardly feel my bra now. I also use to love wearing belts around my waist, but stopped doing that when my heartburn got really bad. So everything I wear is very flowy now. I also googled which foods to avoid. I have noticed that milk helps me more than gaviscon does.

I am not going to stress about weight gain any longer!
I have some heartburn on some days, but manageable for now.

As for the movement, it is comforting to know that all is well with the LO when they move.

Finally we have the group going, after some weeks of silence

reading everyone's post here on weight gain...

most of you are worried coz of some weight gain

imagine i am 85 kgs, have almost put 9 kgs since falling pregnant, how much worried should i be????

But frankly speaking i am not with my previous pregnancy 5 years back i was about 91 kgs by the time i delivered, n just change in my diet latter helped me loose almost 20 kgs.. in 6-7 months.

this time round i am sure i will cross 90 Kgs, but i really dont stop myself eating something is moderation especially if i have cravings

My doc said every month if i pick up 1.5 - 2 kgs then is normal nothing to worry..

Has anyone got Acidity /heartburn problem, i find myself having Gaviscon everyday..

Morning Ladies.
We are 21 weeks today, feeling great and happy.
Going for our detailed scan next week Monday, cant wait to see the little one.
Haven't gained weight yet, I think its because I don't have much of an appetite especially in the evenings but I do eat ALOT of breads and carbs (which I'm not happy about) - but its the only thing I can tolerate right now.
