Hello Ladies,

I'm also having that numbness and tingling in the left thigh, apparently its something that does happen in pregnancy. And Im also experiencing upper abdominal pain, not sure what that is.

I'm really struggling to carry all this weight, struggling to get around and im only 28 weeks. how do all you ladies cope. I feel like an old woman lol needing a wheel chair or walker. The heartburn is a total nightmare keeping me from my sleep at night.

How is it going with all the mommies to be? Hope all had a good weekend. I's struggling with extreme tiredness. Feels like im back in my 1st trimester. Also have a thing that started last week, sciatica nerve that is being blocked an by uterus and causing extreme pain in my legs and buttocks. Other than that, baby kicking away and very busy and we have our 4d scan tomorrow which we looking forward to.

Glad it was nothing serious! I am also a FTM and I google every new thing that is happening to me and have been convinced that my baby is in danger a few times already. Really trying to stop this habit

I had an appointment on Monday and my gynae gave me the forms. I just emailed Discovery as the codes they gave me does not match what is on the forms. It's a never ending story, but I am just glad everything is looking great with my little angel.

Everybody feeling alright? Had a massive scare last week, though my water broke (typical first pregnancy paranoia). But took it all chilled and waited to see what happened until next day, just to find out have a normal think called pregnancy infection. Silly me. But with all the aches and pains one goes through i don't blame myself. DH has also decided we do not have long to go so he is taking over household duties so i can relax in the evenings. Not doing much at the office either now, as i have started handing over most of my work.

Tina - I got a letter from Gynae and took that to the hospital reception and booked my bed. Also have booked my 4d Scan for next week. Very excited and cant wait. Although this little one have been facing my back every time we need her to face forward and also been playing around with laying breach. So hopefully she has settled a bit now and the 4d will be worth it.

Tina, I booked my own bed previously. The doc usually gives a letter stating how many weeks you are and I took that to the reception area to book the bed. They also then give you a list of things that the hospital provides and a list of things you need to get.

Gees, I need to start packing or at least gathering some stuff for the hospital bag. You ladies are making me scared now...

I am going to Netcare Femina Clinic, I had my other 2 kids there and had good experiences. My doc is also based there.

I don't have a birth plan, but doing a c-section and tying my tubes at the same time.

Ontong, I also get those pains on my calf muscles, especially at night. It's really painful and I can't move my leg when it happens.

Hi Ladies

I am 29 weeks and have not packed my bag yet, but I have been getting everything together, so all I need to do is put it into a bag I guess. I feel time is going by too quickly! I still have to get my UIF docs ready as well.

I am giving birth at Milnerton Medi Clinic, so the list of things I must have is on their website. I am just confused about the booking of the bed. Is that something you must go do yourself or will your gynae arrange that for you?
