Sweet re: baby shower... they will feel that way! Enjoy the planning and attention

Ayesha are you managing to keep weight loss stable? I've lost about 7...maybe 8kgs now. Are you also on Zofran? The meds they give to chemo patients? Flip...when i puke and I know one pill costs me R90.....also down the drain This hyperemesis gravadarum is no joke... I literally feel suicidal at times.

I only buy big items by around 30 weeks. I don't like to buy anything early...I'm a bit of a buzz kill.

Most of my friends however start shopping at like 12 weeks... it's your first baby, so knock yourself out!


For me again though, due to being sick, I really have not even thought about a baby yet.

i understand how you feel simone, my gynae gave me meds for the nausea nothing works only made it worse.

ladies how many of you have bought the big things? i wanna set up mine already i am so excited.

my mom in law already started planning my baby shower, guess the excitement for there 1st grandchild has kicked in full force already,

I'm doing don's scan next week, not sure if I am doing the blood. I did do it for both of my previous pregnancies though, but have a different gynae now.

I'm sick of being sick at this stage. These meds don't even work..... so it's depressing.

I was off work for over a week. Just trying to get my deadlines done and then I may just take another week off.

Morning ladies

Simone the bloods were for a whole variety of tests including rubella blood count and the downs screening, my doc only does bloods for downs screenings thank gosh or i would be poor before baby comes. bloods are expensive if you only cash.

hows every one feeling? I think i am allergic to work, now that i am back my morning sickness is worse than ever.

prenessa my doc told me i will be having cramps from the 12th week onwards as all my organs will be moving to accomidate my baba, but if they are unbearable to come in immediately, keeping my fingers crossed for you hope to hear you update after you app. good luck

So far the cramping as just got worse during the last week.
I hear its normal so I am trying not to stress.

Welcome Prenessa

Hope everyone had an amazing Valentine's day! We went to our scan yesterday and baby is doing so well, very healthy, Dr is very happy with everything. Comparing the pictures from the first to the second ultrasound are also amazing, cannot believe that baby has grown so much in just 4 weeks. Dr couldn't tell gender just yet, so hopefully next month!
