All good on my side, baby is 2 weeks tomorrow and starting to become more alert and awake. I'm so grateful that he was (actually still is) a sleepy one during the first 2 weeks, it made my own recovery so much easier.

Glad to see everyone is doing well and we have a new beautiful baby girl CONGRATES ASTUBCHEN. I am getting impatient today is my due date (14 September) and nothing as yet, if the baby is not here after 10 days the midwife will induce I pray my labour starts before then.

My fone went in for repairs so don't have any form of going to the internet so I am using hubby's done now.

I had the exact same problem with my first and once I gave him the bottle my milk dried up and it was sadly the end of breastfeeding for us. I unfortunately dont have any great advise for you, but recommend you try a nipple shield first before introducing the bottle. I tried it, but was too late because at that stage my nipples were bleeding. Yet my friend breastfed for 4 months using a nipple shield for every feed.

Good luck as I know how much it hurts. Hope someone else can advise.

Sorry have been so quiet. Been kept on my toes.

Ladies need help. Breastfeeding is just becoming to painful for me. The Doc showed me how to get him to latch properly and he has ever since but the nipple pain is unbearable. It makes me cry. I use lansinoh nipple cream which prob helps a bit but I need something to completely numb it or desensitize it. I'm sterilizing bottles and considering putting him on a bottle from now which I really did not plan on doing
