I made sure the room was very warm and I had all bathing essentials next to me so I could be as quick as possible oh and that she wasnt hungry. She seemed to enjoy it not a single squirm except for the part when I was applying surgical spirit on her umbilical cord but it was also soon forgotten.

Its true when they say mother insticts kick in, ive seen her being bathed only once and prior to that ive never had the opportunity to bath a newborn but surprisingly everything went well.

TCS84: That smile is priceless! Thanks for the breastfeeding advise. I really hope to get it right this time around. Staying calm when you have a hungry crying baby in your arms is not easy. I remember sometimes even crying with my boy. Well done to you!

DieSwartKat: Glad you guys are home and all is well. What was Big Sister's reaction to her little brother and how are you coping with the two of them at the same time?

How is everyone else doing?

I have had a lot of period like cramps today. I keep getting excited thinking this must be it now, but am putting it down to the Raspberry leaf tea. I guess it's a good thing though. Am feeling very impatient, but keep reminding myself that at least I am now 38 + weeks along and not starting out at 6 weeks. It seriously can't be much longer now

Was reading my previous post im so sorry about the mistypes! Was holding my little angel on one hand, oh well guess I better get used to it.

Berry I wont lie it is a bit fustrating, I sometimes wonder if I keep her awake maybe for longer during the day maybe that will help her sleep longer stretches at night ? But then I wouldn't be able to wake her that would make me feel so guilty.

I gave her a birt today, I must say I did quite well.Thet did give us a bathing demonstration at the hospital though so that really helped.

Hi Ladies,

Astubchen: That pic - Awwww! I just want my little princess to come now. Babies love to switch their days and nights around, but should fall into some sort of routine eventually. I only used a dim light at night with my Son just so that I could see what I was doing and will do same this time around. Just to minimize stimulation at night. My Son still used to feed every 3 hourly day and night on the dot though - like he had an internal clock. I had a huge problem with him back then because he used to fall asleep while feeding every time and didn't pick up the required weight in the first few weeks. The Paed suggested undressing him while feeding - in the middle of winter shame. It just really upset him. Was a huge struggle for us back then. So I would say it is maybe a good thing that your angel is awake

Ncooo these babies are sooo cute  I'm just out of words.

So far I believe we have 4 babies who have arrived already 3 bouncing baby boys and 1 little cute angel. I hope all the mommies are enjoying their bundle of joys. And I notice they gave birth before their EDDs except for Austubchen whom I believe she gave birth on her exact EDD. Betti even ended up in August :woohoo: This just shows that we all must be ready anytime. I personally can't wait I'm so impatient, but hanging up there.

I guess we just waiting to see who's next on our list :P and if I'm correct looks like all the mommies so far have given birth via c-section I can be corrected if I'm wrong.

Hei Momies we finally home, arrived yesterday abd everything is just perfect. Im having quite a bit of pain especially when I have to wske up at night for a feed but hoping it will subside quite soon.

Y angel sleeps throughout the day just wakes up for a few min for a feed, however for some reason its completely different at night. She wakes more often and is just more alert..

Attached is a picture of her.
