Vendah: all I can say about breastfeeding is don't panic. U have to be calm.. Even when they are screaming and not latching immediately just stay calm and let him latch when he does. As soon as he panics and u panic then it's a disaster...
massaging ur breasts also help. From top to nipple in straight lines all around. My doc says it helps stimulate things... I did it all 9 months...
I'm small chested (A cup) and was worried I won't have milk but I'm sooo full. My breasts look like a C cup! Lol my poor boy was hungry and I was Gona feed him, dropped the front of my bra and I started spraying his face cos I was so full lol lol he was so shocked and he was rooting everywhere lol was so funny... Poor thing..
Also remember that there is no such thing as not having milk. My paed said that if it's taking long just keep at it and feed more often and it will come. he said don't panic and start the bottle and formula unless u want to formula feed otherwise keep going.:.
Best of luck with it.... I can't tell you enough the bonding that happens when u breastfeed because it's quiet time for you and your baby that NOBODY can take away and trust me u don't want anyone to feed him etc. You will just want him for yourself...
Pic of my boy attached. He smiles all day in his sleep. Very very calm and smiley ...
