well i have an office on site... its those park homes or containers ...
and believe it or not, the big companies ensure you have full access to office facilities. so we have wi-fi and a fully fledged kitchen , tea lady, board room etc.
dont be fooled by the container park home look, inside its operational.

i walk onto site when i please otherwise im in my office. i pretty much manage my own time on site..

currently though i am home..

with the first pregnancy, i was on site mostly. we were doing a medical centre and renovations to a hosp. i travelled 1 hour to Pietermaritzburg in the morning and back again in the evening... i had to be on site by 7am!! i climbed scaffolding and the works.. it was quite hard core now that i think of it...

I knew you would be in that field! for some reason your mannerisms and by that i mean forum chat is similar to my husband who is also in that field... but not private...

I see you as a high powered corporate, working in sales or marketing. Very deadline driven and task focused. Do you watch modern family? Then think a corporate Claire Dunphy...

TCS84, I would never have guessed! How do you have so much time to be on the internet if you are on site all day??? You better be extra careful with your pregnancy, I can just picture bricks and stuff falling on you!

You got me spot-on. I'm a wealth manager (which is just a financial planner for the super wealthy), but in private practise and not corporate.

I'm a Quantity Surveyor. so in Construction. I choose to work for a construction company instead of a consultant. so im based on site every day.. Yes that means hard hat and saftey boots too!
and believe it or not, im not a tomboy!!! LOL im quite feminine.. Dont know how that works really..
