Zandri my pead told me the rule of thumb is 2kg every 2 hourly, 3kg every 3 hourly and so forth but like hvdb said, i dont wake my lg during the night. I make sure she's had a good feed and then put her to bed.. Larissa got weighed today, and although she'll only be a week on Friday she's already back to her birth weight, which I'm more than happy with.

Saw lactating consultant today and im feeling much more confident about bf! Lets pray it stays that way!! Larissa had a lip tie so that was part of the main issue, but with that sorted we can move forward.

Thanx for advice on switching day and night LM, haven't thought about it yet but what you saying makes sense.
As for sleeping hours in womb and now, mine doesn't really correspond. Larissa's busiest time was between 6-8 and now she just sleeps that time.

Ek voed haar so elke 2 en half tot 3 ure, sy word wakker op daai skedule maar deur die nag slaap sy 3 tot 4 ure, ek maak haar nie wakker nie, veral nie deur die nag nie, maar as sy langer slaap deur dag sal ek haar wakker maak, ek dink jy sal agter kom dat hy self sy slaap gaan rek na 4 ure toe, maar ek dink dit geleer eers na n maand, onthou hy is prem, so hy gaan langer vat om daarby uit te kom, wie is sy Dr?

I have a prem baby so perhaps I can't really answer your question but thus far Stephan is still sleeping most of the day and night. I wake him up for feeds and when I lay him down afterwards he would stare around in silence for a while and fall asleep. Very good boy

Stephan would have been 37 weeks tomorrow. Strange to think I was only supposed to deliver now. Lol I know it would have been alot better but I am so happy the C-section is behind me.

I think I have reached a new level of tired and Stephan is the sweetest boy. Hardly ever cries. Only if he is hungry. I can't imagine having a fussy baby and being this tired.

Kimmy, I poured the behoedmiddel into my empty telement drops holder and just used it the same after feeding directly in her mouth. I think it was 5 drops? Or you can just use a dropper...

Lauz, except for the fact that Baby City doesn't stock any Chelino products, I prefer their store by far!!!! They've got everything and more, where Baby Boom & Babies R Us stock very limited products in my opinion - great for toys and gifts, but lacking in actual baby supplies.

Kimmy, you can get the probiflora pead sachets at any Clicks, Dischem or big retail pharmacy. It comes in a box with either I think 5 or 10 sachets (cant remember)... and if I remember correctly costs around R80... the bigger box actually works out cheaper.

Louise, i do have the lennon thing, but now i don't know how to use it do i just put few drops in his bottle??
And where do i get the probiflora, i've never seen it before.

As for switching cycles, i think i'll try that when he is atleast 2 weeks old??
