PP, walk and get up as much as possible. Also, ask the nurses for the iced gel packs!!! Put in your panty on the scar - trust me!!! Either today or tomorrow it's going to start BURNING... and let then constantly bring you a new iced one as soon as the old one starts melting.

PP she looks like a little angel! I think c-sections are for the brave!!! That's why I'm so afraid I might have to have one. Once again well done. Hope you feel less helpless and better soon. <3 enjoy the cuddles

Yip, El came out legs first. She has to have two nappies on at a time for now. Had her first bath this afternoon and apparently loved the water (daddy was with her). She's now asleep on my chest - little angel



I've decided that anyone who thinks Caesarean sections are a coward's way out are stupid. Not saying that labour is a breeze because obviously I have no concept of it, but I don't think I've ever felt as helpless as I have in the last 34 hours and the pain of getting up... Seems to be getting easier at least.
