Kimmy they do say that their movements mimic how they will be on the outside when they come out but I'm not so sure it sticks, my lg I never felt her when I slept and she didn't sleep through the night when she was born and it took her a while unlike some other moms who had babies sleeping through the night at 2 months already!

My lg was very active always kicking and hiccuping and she was a very wide awake baby. My lb is following suit as well so I could be in for another time of lots of sleepless nights lol!

Louise you talk about a beached whale, I've had everyone at work ask me what I'm dressing up as for Halloween and I keep telling them a beached whale lol! That's a lovely idea for your lg and so nice of your DH!

Louise, at my antenatal class the sister told us to sit an extra 2 min on the toilet and ensure our bladders are empty. I had your exact same experience and since doing that now sitting an extra 2 minutes I have an extra pee and I no longer leak.

But it does make one para because it could also be your waters leaking and how do you know besides smelling it (apparently the waters smell sweet). Lol can you imagine all of us sitting and constantly smelling every time there's a slight leak!

The past week now I've noticed that i would just have pee'd, but then when I go sit (TMI) I would just start "leaking/dripping"... I assume it's pee, but it certainly adds to the paranoia!

DH stood by his word and arranged our LG's birthday party all on his own. There's a water theme park in Pretoria that's quite the hype now and he was able to get the last Lapa available for 31 Oct. So we'll be going there with some close friends and family. I will be the beached whale stranded next to the pool in the shade most likely... But El is very excited.

Morning mamas

So so tired, but thought I'd pop into say hi before trying to get a little more sleep in. Going home today @Zandri, if you're also going home then I'm hoping and praying Stephan goes with you and if not sending you lots and lots of love and strength!

Clueless, there are loads of sweet factory shops in crown mines but you have sunrise sweets in roodepoort which is pretty close to you www.sunrisesweets.co.za.

As for those dreams you both talking of I had a dream two weeks back I went into labour over a weekend and the date was the 16th, tomorrow is the 16th lol! It's just our sub conscious playing a good game of keeping us on our toes and ensuring we ready!

Thanks ladies for the suggestions, will definitely add it to my list. Louise, I'm in Randburg, and have not seen any factory sweet shops around here in the few months we've been here. I do think there may be one in Kempton that I've seen....

Lauz, I also feel that baby is lower and possibly engaged. But she had been pressing on my bladder since about 14 weeks, so I also don't think the whole lightening thing is going so well for me.

Louise, I dreamt the exact same thing! Maybe because I have to get up so many times to go pee that it makes it into my dreams, but the dream about the show was quite disconcerting.
