@Lauz my girl is also kicking away... It does not seem that the space is getting less in there.

@kimmy It's not nice your husband going away. And at a time when you just want support and love. Thinking of you.

@zandri Glad everything is going better with you!

I am very jealous of all of you having "summer" weather... We are still having wintery weather in the Cape. 4 seasons in one day. The days are okay, but the nights are still cold! I can't wait for the warmer weather!!!

We are having our carpets cleaned tomorrow so it feels like we are moving. All the furniture in the rooms are in the lounge... Can't wait until that's done.

Have a good day Moms!

Morning mommies
Omw i have the energy of a snail today!!! I swear i could stay in bed all day and just sleep on and off!!!
But i will have to stick it out for another 2 weeks eek!!!!
New temp started yesterday, and so far, so good, which is one massive relief!! I do have this feeling in the back of my mind though, that once she's got the hang of everything i will go into labour. Like my mind is telling my body to pause until then :)
@kimmy please tell your hubby from me, he's blerrie crazy and he should keep his cookoo ideas for himself! Going to Zambia now?? In the middle of a heat wave, i think he's lost the plot!! Hahaha, well thats my opinion!
@Zandri, im glad your bp is staying low and your trying your best to keep calm! Keep up the good work mommy! I know it can't be easy!
Sorry for now t replying to everyone, i have serious porridge brain today!!

Louise I totally get you hahaha I actually need to start using that line next month makes things sound better, I don't know about you ladies but there is one sentence I just can't stand.... Wow you looking swell! I want to just tell them to Ef off when people tell me that!

Zandri, either way if baby comes now you'll at least have our gynae around first of all and second of all I'm sure by now baby is about 2kg so you'll be able to hopefully take him home but agreed try keep him in as long as possible! Will be thinking of you. As for the blood pressure that's brilliant it sounds low but that's what mine has been around the last two times I've gone for my scans!

Kimmy shoo Zambia, now that's far, I would lay down the law and tell him that anything can happen in a heartbeat!

How is everyone feeling otherwise, even though I have people telling me I won't last until the 24th November I just don't feel like I'll be having my lb anytime soon. They say he is suppose to start slowing down on movements the closer you get to your due date and there is no stopping this little guy these movements are hard and happening continuously. I'm not waddling, don't feel uncomfortable it's strange I feel like I'm back into my second trimester just with an extra dose of toilet breaks.

Lauz, he wants to go to zambia, it doesn't matter how close it is but i don't want him to go anywhere, actually those meetings have to be on hold until november.
I mean no matter what the dr says, am the one carrying the baby, am not even sure if the baby can wait until my c section.
And again my feet are swelling now, who has to drive around HIM

Good morning mommies

@ Lauz - yes I will definitely ask my gynie to introduce me to the standby Dr. Hopefully I will last that long bacause it sounds like baby can come at any minute. My braxtons have kicked up a notch and with the low amniotic fluid it can happen soon. But I am trying to stay calm and relaxed to keep baby in as long as possible.

@ Kimmy - my husband was the same. I mean we were at that game lodge last week and we thought everything was fine. Now I am in hospital. Things can change in a heartbeat. My due dat is only in Nov and I though I had all the time in the world. But take it from me, anything can happen. My husband is in such a shock, after I was admitted he started to get the flue and he is so stressed, he thought we we still have time but now everything got very real very fast. Shame I feel very bad for him.

They asked me when I was admitted regarding keeping the placenta en I was like no thanks. Will stick to my prenatals.

My BP was 116/ 57 this morning  lol so low but they say its very good.

hope you all have a lovely day.

Lauz, I know what you mean... So close but yet so far!!!

I have random women asking me "how long till baby comes"? And when I tell them 6 weeks, they go into something like a "shock" mode, like I should be on bedrest with my legs elevated and practising my breathing techniques...? What the? Do they not realize that one week in the life of a third trimester mommy feels 3 times as long?!

What is nice, is the fact that I can now finally say "baby's coming next month"!

Oh yes, on the topic of dogs - We also have 3 (pincher/daschund cross and then 2 chow-chows). My girl chow have been acting very affectionate for the past 2 months now. She would constantly jump up against me to smell & "greet" my tummy. Over the weekend, I was sitting on the couch and she jumped up and started licking my bare belly... It grossed me out, but DH said I shouldn't shove her off, cause she is obviously sensing the baby and by shoving her off I might give a negative vibe.

Then after that my boy started acting VERY protective! So they definitely know what's coming. The lady who wash & shaves our dogs said when baby comes home, introduce her to them first thing. Leave her in the car seat on the ground and let them sniff away... they'll be very curious and also 'scared' of the new smell and sounds being introduced. Then they should be fine...

Urgh - heatwave today in Gauteng! Please keep cool mommies!!!!!!!
