Good to hear your dr started you on meds Zandri! Will pray that its not preeclampsia and you and lb can go home soon. Not good on amniotic fluid being low, you will no doubt have to take it easy!!!

Afm, babyshower was awesome awesome awesome!!! Baby Larissa got do spoilt, i sommer want to cry when i think how blessed we are! Trying to think what can still be left in my registry at baby city and I don't think there is anything!!!! So thankful!!!

Hi lauz. Dokter has not mention an early delivery yet but he did say that the only way to treat pre-eclampsia is to deliver the baby. He told me not to worry so I am trying not to think about it. But for now it's still to early. Baby needs to be at least over 2 kg's.

The meds have kicked in because my BP is down to 124/67. They will keep an eye on it still but hoping to go home soon

Hi Zandri, wow that is very high glad it's down again. Sometimes we need that rest just to put our bodies back into its happy place!

Praying it isn't pre-eclampsia. To be in hospital for so long is not a nice thing! Will they consider an early c-section?

Oh almost forgot to mention that they saw with my ultrasound yesterday that my amniotic fluid is low. This is not a good sign but they are keeping a close eye on me and checking for any contractions. Thus far only had braxton hicks.

Good morning ladies

Just to give everyone a update. I am still in the hospital and my doctor was just here to inform me that I will not be released today. They have started me on blood pressure meds and they have some other test to complete as well. My BP was so high last night that even I started to worry 160/99. But this morning it was down again to 141/77. Dokter was happy that its down and didn't look worried at all. Also it doesn't seem to bother the baby at all. He has a strong heartrate and still very active. So for now it's just mommy thats not doing as great.

But I am very relaxed and I think I just needed the rest. I have been working very hard lately and being off my feet helps. They will no later today if it is pre-eclampsia or not. If it is I will stay in hospital untill the birth. But I am confident that it will not be the case
case. The thanx again for all the support.

About the J&J: I'm also not to worried about it. There is chemicals in everything we use so where do draw the line. I decided to use Elizabeth Anne's for the first few months as I use it as well and I have extremely sensitive skin. But we'll see how it goes.

Zandri! Thinking of you. <3 You are in the best place for you and your little bub. Let us know how you are.
