Our Saturday morning started on a bit of a somber note... One of DH's colleagues lost their baby boy shortly after birth. They were told @ 20weeks that the baby's intestines were growing outside the body, but that they would just closely monitor it... On Friday the baby showed signs of distress and they had to deliver the baby. He passed away on Friday night in his fathers arms. It's so sad, cause we were a month apart... I can not even imagine carrying a baby full term and then losing them.
On a positive note - my baby shower was awesome...Tiring...but awesome! It started @ 10:30 and the last people only left @ 18:00... We received lots of clothes (but very usefull play & sleep suites), toiletries, hooded towels etc. Stuff I luckily didn't stock up on a lot, and then vouchers & money - which is very handy for those last minute items!
AFM - my goodness... this constipation is really getting me down!!! Everyday now I have to take Agiolax to just assist me, but even that doesn't help... Not to mention the piles now as a result of the constipation!
And yesterday I had my first episode of sciatica... I said to hubby - it's the worst pain in my knee and then suddenlg it feels like my leg goes all parilised... So last night he massaged me with the infrared massager and thank God it cleared it!!! It was so bad, that I could actually feel the nerve running from my buttocks all the way down to my calve.
Here's some pictures of the shower & afterwards...
