Hi ladies!
I've been keeping up with your posts, I have just been trying to focus on other aspects of my life as I feel like since I got pregnant that is all I think about! So I've been productive and now will reward myself with a bit of moomie time- it' going to take a while to catch up with all the posts!
MrsGov - I hope you are feeling a bit better about your dog now. Less tan 6 weeks now until you find out the gender, how exciting!
Jooste - I hope you are doing well, I think of you often! Thank you for popping in
BellasMom - If all you can eat is crackers and KitKat, then eat them! I had people telling me to eat veggies and at the time I was living on Tuc crackers, choc bitz cereal, instant mash and apples. Now I have no more excuses and I have to eat the vegetables

so just take it day by day and worry about healthy eating later!
TanyaS - I'm glad the NT scan went well - have they worked out your risk yet?
DebbieF - Well done on the wonderful exam result! 1:873 results is nothing to worry about, I would say, so congratulations! How wonderful of MIL to offer to throw you a babyshower!!
Marykevs - I am thinking of you and wish you best of luck with your journey going forward!
Spirited Mama - Congratulations on team blue! Yay! Yes I am sure all your boys will treat you like a Queen

I am very sorry to read aboutyour Gran, and I am hoping for the best possible outcome fir her, and that you won't have to wait too long to find out what's wrong!
lethuwan - only 4 more days to go for you!! You asked how we stop ourselves from buying stuff? My answer is that I don't

We have bought quite a few cute outfits already, so have my mom and DF's mom, and we also bought some plain vests as well as socks and bath products! We also have quite a lot of nappies already. But after I bought all that, the shopping bug has left me and I don't feel the need to buy anymore.
gontse1 - Welcome and congratualtions on the little girl!! I'm sure her big brothers will love her!
Michelle - Welcome! I wish you a H&H pregnancy! I think that is a bit strange, you usually only get 12 and 20 week scans but you see the Ob inbetween for other appointments. I would phone and ask why they did that.
NnitaN - Congratulations on team pink!! So happy for you. Enjoy it and buy those pink outfits!
Mommyjay - Welcome and congratulations!! I think there are about 2 or 3 of you now, but enjoy this group as long as you would like
Nels_n - Welcome and congratulations!
Bea - I have been in preggy pants for weeks already... Haha. I don't need them but I had a Mr P voucher so I bought some maternity jeans. When I tried them on, I just decided they were my new jeans- they are so much more comfortable. But enjoy your preggy pants! On the topic of spree, have you checked out the baby boy clothes? I saw some ADORABLE baby boy items on there yesterday, but am not allowing myself to buy more now...
Pokkeltjie- Thanks for staying on top of our scan dates! How are you doing?
Thanks to all who congratulated me on team blue!! I was a bit sad at first, I don't know why, I think all of the girly clothes in the shops are so appealing, but I realised very quickly that the clothes was the only thing upsetting me. I'm very happy it's a little boy, I have actually always wanted a boy first! I realised that either way, you are a bit sad because you know it's not the other sex- if it was a girl I would have been a bit sad for other reasons. It's that definite feeling of knowing what it is now, so no more imagining. Can anybody relate?
I am also recovering from a cold now, so I'm with all you sick ladies! All I took was 2 Panado once a day and luckily I was only sick for about 3 days.
I started having sore hips while sleeping a few weeks ago now, and read online to put a normal pillow between your legs, all the way from your knees to your ankles. Ladies, this has helped SO much! I have no hip pain, and the nights I forgot to use the pillow I tossed and turned with sore hips. So I really suggest that trick if anybody else is struggling.
Other than that, I am not showing AT ALL!! I just feel normal at this point, don't feel or look pregnant, so I'm finding it a bit frustrating. But I have a scan tomorrow again and then I get to see baby boy and I will feel better!
Ladies, I had so much to say but now can't think of everything. I'll update again tomorrow.
Keep well!
