Pokkeltjie, how are you doing? My next scans are 17 and 30 August.

Debbie, that's a nice gesture from your MIL and nice time to catch up with your friends. My friends are having a babyshower for me in October - with the twins we just don't know what will happen towards the end of the year.

How is everyone else doing?

AFM: I'm out of bed today so I guess I'm getting better. Since I'm freelancing from home as of June I'm sort of losing work if I don't work - so it has been my first taste of that - but luckily I've managed to finish one job today. I'll catch up on the rest over the weekend. I do however realise that my health must come first and the doc also made it very clear to me that I won't get better if I don't stay in bed. Well, off to couch for the rest of the afternoon for me. Have a great weekend all!

Hi to everyone else. Hope everyone is doing well. Sorry about the hurried post...

AFM, we are all still sick... I am tying up loose ends in the office before I head back to bed Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes. My Gran's biopsy was done but we wait to hear the outcome. We should know by next week what the plan or way forward is...if they recommend treatment or surgery or if in fact anything still can be done. At this stage we just don't know...

Im new to this group but not moomie. Mommie of 2 boys 6yrs and 16mths and 14.6wks pregnant , due 4/2. Dont know the gender yet. I have been skimming through some of your posts, so not familiar with everybody. Looking forward to reading more on some of the posts.

TanyaS - Owwie on the fever blisters I think our systems are run down , I am trying to boost with diluted
juice dunno if its mind over matter but so far it is working.

Lethuwam - only 1 week left till your scan , I haven't bought anything for the baby yet but cant resist going passed the
baby section and oooh and ahhhing at the cute things.

MrsGov, Bellasmom, AnaB and SimmyBunz - You been very quiet everything okay on your side ?

AFM - I was very surprised that my MIL has decided to have a baby shower for me when we go down to Durban in December I have a few moomie friends from "Pregnancy after DC" which I have belonged to since 2010 we have met before when we go down to MIL so it will be nice to have them there as they have travelled the long journey with me.

@ Spirited Mama - so sorry to hear about your gran, it must be tough to go through it as a family all the time! Have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers and hoping that the biopsy will bring good news. Hate this in-between weather...that's when everybody picks up the flu Hope you and the family get better real soon!

Nothing new this side....enjoying Cape Town's nice warm weather for now (back to cold and wet tomorrow )
And just counting the day until my next scan....feels like it is taking forever!

Congrats on team blue! Did you manage to get your bags in the end? I am so sorry about your granny and we are all holding thumbs that the biopsy goes well. Stay strong and know we are all thinking of you. Hope you guys feel better from your flu as well. You can take panado’s, just don’t exceed 8 in a 24 hour period.

Glad your scan went well, lol mine is just as lazy as yours, wasn’t moving much at the last scan and my doc had to prod the baby a bit to get some movement.

How are the twinsies? Sorry you are all sick, I think it’s a normal thing for us to constantly be sick, feel like it just never gets better lol. I have a cold again and now I am sitting with 3 fever blisters on my lips, it sucks. Hope you and your family get better really soon.
