MOVED FROM PF - APRIL 2010

Hi! I'm also from the Pampers Forum, glad I found you ladies!

Nothing new on this side... still waiting! I've been trying the raspberry leaf tea as well as the Evening Primrose Oil and nothing. So I think baby is quite content staying put for now. I suppose I still have 10 more days until the due date, but I'm starting to get impatient!

Morning everyone..

Well - my official due date is 24 April - although Doc told us to be prepared from 10 April... We don't know what we are having besides a baby which currently is around 3.1kg and 43 cm in length! I wasn't quite ready then if it had happened... but now i'm a little impatient... i'm not a good "Waiter!"

As for induction - i've got 2 weeks before Doc will discuss that with me... but i'm trying the natural methods at the moment... hot baths, spicy food, walking, sex... and nada as yet.. Going on a major hunt for raspberry leaf tea today... And Marijke - going to read up on those Primrose Tabs as well...

Thanks Kinda scared to try that out read somewhere when you preggers you not supposed to put anything down there ??? but honestly right now I think I am willing to try anything just not to be induced!!! Times like this when I wish I was giving birth @ an active birthing unit and not a normal unit\hosptal! Not sure how my hospital works but I hope I am allowed to walk around after they've administered the drugs

Awww Mommy21, I hope your LG arrives before Wednesday! I've heard (don't quote me on this, but I read it on Pampers) that you can get an Evening Primrose Oil pill or capsule that you can insert down there which will soften the cervix and start labour. Don't know how affective it is but heard from 2 mommies that it worked!

If you have to be induced on Wednesday try your hardest to stay active once induced, walk around, sit on a birthing ball - anything for gravity to do its job even if that means walking around the hospital 100 times, don't let them keep you on your back for too long and try your hardest to resist an epidural till your about 4 - 5 cm dilated.

Hi April 2010 mommies!!!! I've been active on this site longer then I have been on PF so I dont know you guys really well BUT I would love to get to know you!!

A bit about myself my due was the 15th of April but my little girl decided she doesnt want to make an appearance as of yet so I am still kinda waiting!!!

My dr is giving me a week tho so Wednesday the 21st I have to go to the hospital to be induced!!! Anybody been induced before? This is my 1st baby and I am really nervous about the induction...I am hoping she makes an appearance before Wednesday morning
